This is absolute garbage.
It makes perfect sense why you designed the current loot system in King's Fall to be terrible; it was designed with this (highly likely) paid-for consumable in mind the entire time.
I just killed Oryx on my Titan and guess what I got? 2 shards. This is disgusting. If your company has even a shred of integrity left (doubtful), you'll make sure this item never sees the light of day as it is currently designed.

Is there a chance that this will be an in-game drop? Sure. Is it highly suspicious that Tess Everis has this disclaimer with these consumables popping up in the database? Yes, yes it is.

In fact, they've been in the data files since TTK dropped (funny how nobody complained then) but were never implemented because they couldn't get them to work properly. B. How is this any different than the Three of Coins? Why does nobody complain about those?

That was all removed from the game before TTK shipped, it was glitchy - they went with 3 of coins instead - you are upset over nothing.

3 RepliesMy wife and i have bought 2 copies of destiny and every dlc twice over; I've never spent this much money on any video game before destiny, so even the concept of silver offends me. Anyway, I've come to terms with tess everes but if/when bungie does pull a stunt like paid for consumables, it'll probably be at a point where the majority of the player base is far too invested to quit. Like 3+ years in. I'm not impressed with their business practices. lucky for them we are addicts

Who cares... If it works the same way that Three of Light does, it's just going to give you the same gear that you already have over and over anyway... I stopped buying the Three of Light last week after I received my 7th invective and 6th Claws of Ahmakara... I can't help but feel like they are letting us blow through our coin stashes, and once most people have to start grinding for them every week, then all of these exotics that have yet to show up will come available...
