What would actually make you quit Destiny?
At work, I frequent the forums regularly and most topics are about complaints with just about everything. Most I agree with, some can be debated. What, as a community, would make everyone actually stop playing, go on strike, etc? What would be the last straw?

Well honestly nothing besides pay to win features such as selling armor or guns thats all really.

Mass Effect. Lol no in all seriousness if the game showed no evolution. Thus far all dlc has proven to be a cumulative experience. Interesting raid mechanics, use of relics in normal gameplay, changes to economy, weapon perks on legendaries with exotic qualities, etc would not have been possible if they didn't learn from what worked and what interested people. Right now they have proven they know what a good game looks like. The instant they choose economy over evolving the gameplay I'll turn my thumbs elsewhere. Assassin's Creed games are individually fun but if you play that whole series and the Batman series you'll see that "Sneak and Destroy" genre of games get stale fast. This can happen to Destiny if Bungie fails their creativity at the same time their publishers make more marketing stunts.

Pay to win. As soon as pay to win comes in I will be leaving. If they move to more and more reliance on pvp. House of wolves nearly made me walk away as j have no interest in playing crucible.

1 ReplyIf they start charging silver to buy buffs that increase my drop chances. You know why? Because bungie could simply lower the drop rate to nothing and basically force players to buy these loot buffs for real $$.

Pay to win, in any form. If they keep nerfing weapons every time they discover we've found the new fotm. That's starting to get really old. Straw that breaks the camels back will be if they nerf scout rifles. If I play halo 5 (or any fps game) and it's better. Destiny does fulfill my want of an mmorpg, but I also have swtor and can easily just split time between that and halo. It's about to get an update anyway. If my little brother quits playing. That's the main reason I got the taken king. As long as he's stoked about it I'll keep playing.
