Old Gear - has anyone dismantled everything yet?
I haven't pulled the trigger and deleted my old gear yet. Does anyone see any value in keeping any of it?

Got rid of PoE armor sets that i had for all characters, exactly what i decided to do if i needed some vault space, they were ugly and easy to get. Kept my ToO, VoG and CE armor and weapons. Also got rid of some legendary armor and weapons that were obtainable outside the old raids, and i've also been deleting exotics whenever i've obtained a year 2 version of it. Vault space is not an issue at the moment, and i think i have no year 1 gear with me on my characters.

2 RepliesNope. And i will not delete them until bungie adds in a raid gear collection. I didnt play VoG every week for the armor sets to be dismantled, nor did i play iron banner to delete that gear. Sure i may never use it again, but its a collectors item. They made it work for exotic guns and armor. Y not endgame gear too? like 2 more kiosks for PvE and PvE endgame prior endgame gear

Deleted everything except full sets of raid armor and weapons from both raids.

My Trophy list: The Supremacy Zombie Apocalypse Vanilla Titan DO armor Some old iron banner gear A few vanilla weapons Some VoG stuff Some CE stuff Little to no PoE stuff (Its gross) A bunch of class items And other stuff.

I've tried but haven't been able to delete my vog and ce armor sets along with my voc and fang. Too depressing.

Only value I see is a couple old raid weapons or sentimental ones. Oh and a couple that are fun in PvP. Other than that none of them cut it at all. Now if they one day make them relevant again I'm going to be over the moon pissed off but I'll deal with it.

I have cleared out most of my old gear except a select few. I want all the new gear, and I realized that next year there will be all new gear again.

Almost everything is gone weapon wise, all hunter armour has lol.

Only kept my BTRD until I find an LMG to replace it.

I've deleted nothing.

Kept full sets of armor for VoG, Crota, and PoE on all three characters and kept one full set of raid guns from each raid. Also kept crucible specific guns and gear to use in normal crucible

Nope ans I won't be. I've got guns from my Vanilla days. :) I have a full set of Dead Orbit armour for a Hunter which will stay forever to use in the Crucible.

Kept all my trials gear including the adepts. And I've kept my lordhighfixer.

the only year one stuff i havent dismantled yet are the gear on my hunter just because i havent leveled it up yet, i honestly dont care to hold on to older weapons unless they do actually come out with transmog, and when they do i'll just run VoG/CE/PoE with some randoms and plow through them since we out level them a whole lot

Pretty much. Only have one character at the moment (Titan) and pretty much all gear has been dismantled. I kept the Kellslayer helm (the airplane looking one) and one other helmet but that's it. Figured I'll keep a few things for nostalgic reasons. Once I start with my Warlock/Hunter, I imagine I'll do the same thing with their gear. Probably going to keep the Ram helmet though.

Nope. I keep it for nostalgia, collection purposes, and to prove "I was there." I really wish they would add a transmog system so that we could use the look of some of our old gear on new armor.

3 RepliesI've dismantled loads of stuff... Kept behind old raid gear, a few sentimental legendary weapons and half a dozen exotics! The way I see it, if you hit the max level you can equip one old weapon and still be light level 296 assuming that gear has been brought up to year one max! Haven't tested that out though, been trying to play around with all the new stuff, but I should be able to hit 282 with an old fate bringer!
