So...was it worth the $40 bucks?
Was it worth it to you? To me it was, I like MOST of the changes. New feel to the crucible, new weapons and gear. New great story line and area's to explore. Subclasses, ghost and fragment hunting. Yelling and screaming on the mic at your mates with new raid content. Love it!

Before TTK: OMG bungie 40 dollars is WAY too much, I'm not gonna pay that much for a DLC, Get a job scrub The new stuff will be crap After TTK: WOW that was amazing we love it!

Absolutely. There are so many quests and new things to find that I'm gonna be playing for a loooooong time. Heck, it might even last me until the next expansion!

So is pricey for a dlc because is a revamp of the game. It sucks for millions of people that got the game day 1 with the expansion pack because if you want to have the best experience with Destiny, you have no choice to get all dlc to unlock every missions, made modes and etc. So it really sucks that you have to pay extra money of your pocket and many people would give up on it unless you are a big fan of the game. On the other hand, for the new people buying Destiny Legendary Edition is amazing for them cuz they spend less money and they will have every content unlocked and they will have lots of fun. In my case. I'm a day one player and after 1 year I enjoyed Destiny so much that I wanted to continue playing so I had no choice to spend more money for another dlc. Il take it as in I'm buying a new game and spend more hours than buying a different game. Is your choice. Everyone has different opinions. I hope this helps.

Between the secrets of the dreadnaught, the best raid released so far, the quest lines, the new strikes, and the court of oryx I would say this is well worth $40. At least triple be content that was added in for HoW or TDB.

$59 bucks for me since I could never get it to recognize that I already had the whole game despite having completed darned near everything over and ever again. But still I at first felt it was worth it. But now I'm starting to wonder. The grind is worse than before and EVERYTHING requires a fire team and if you don't grind every day to rank up and have the latest cool stuff you loose your "usefulness" to your team. It almost seems like they went out of their way to make you spend even MORE time in the game; it seems like each thing requires a good hour or so of just running around the tower. And the compulsion to log in ALL THE TIME to get everything done each week just to do it again the next week is starting to make me question if it is time to re-join the real world...

On balance I would have to say Yes. I like the quests. Have not done strikes yet. Not done too much crusible. Going to do quests and storyline 1st. But very enjoyable so far.
