Reskinned Weapon Megathread!

If the entire argument of why fatebringer and all the year one guns and armor and therefore all the year one content had to be left behind boils down to elemental primary damage then I'd much rather have everything be relevant with the primary elemental damage removed than have only a fourth of the game's total content be relevant. Imagine if expansions actually expanded content instead of replaced it. Imagine if every legendary weapon were in the loot pool and could be infused. Imagine if you could actually look how you wanted using armor drops from the entire destiny loot pool. 1: Crucible would still function exactly the same because every weapon from year one already exists in year two so it would really be a matter of weapon skins. 2: Players would look considerably different from one another as people use different sets. 3: Got terrible drops from oryx this week? Don't feel bad because now you can run vault of glass, Crota's end, and prison of elders for chances at better gear drops instead of calling it quits until next weekly reset. Naturally this would require 290 and 310 scaled versions of the old activities but considering year one destiny was a number slider for "difficulty" anyways it doesn't sound too outrageous to accomplish. There is literally no downside to having more content in this game. Destiny simply isn't MMO enough to accomplish a traditional MMO style gear reset upon the release of an expansion. It just looks like we spent $60 on a game, $20 to have half the game replaced, $20 to have the full game again, then $40 to have the entire game replaced. It's like imagine you're paying for an addition to your house and the contractor just demolishes a third of it and rebuilds it, maybe adds an extra window or two Yes he technically added to your house but your house isn't any bigger.

I've done the undying mind 59 times and still don't have one. One of the people I was doing it with got 3 and the other got it once, I'm done grinding for it

1 ReplyI'm sure this is going to hurt some artist or 3D model maker's feelings, but I don't actually pay much attention to the actual models as much as I do the weapon's stats and perks. Sorry, graphic designer guys.

Lol everything in destiny is reskined, and rerecycled. Lol when they said new levels, they meant recycling old levels with new spawn points New enemies? Recycle the old annoying ones and reskin them :) lol
