HOW TO USE THREE OF COINS....fastest engrams
Lets keep this on top so people know...
There seems to be alot of confusion about them..heres what im doing, its got me 5 exotic engrams and ive only used around 20-25 coins...
the scorge of winter mission on lowest difficulty, on venus, run to the boss at the end.
1 - use 1 coin
2- get his health low
3 - rocket suicde next to him (itll kill both of you)
4 - rinse and repeat
Edit 1 .. just got a year 2 monte carlo, so you can get yr 2 exotics from a yr 1 ultra :) ... happy hunting guardians

Edit 4.. as of 210 est.. it is still working.
Edit 5.. it wont drop everytime u kill the boss, it might take up to 15 or even 20 tries sometimes, and other time it could only take a few... just be patient

2 RepliesThis may work on Scourge of Winter but it doesn't on Eye of the Gatelord for some reason, even though they both seem to have the same end game mechanics; on Eye of the Gatelord, I rocket suicide killed him and got the 5-second cooldown respawn and it didn't restart at the beginning of the dark zone, I had to leave for orbit and land back at the checkpoint. So I don't think that's the best farming method, but I'll have to try the Scourge of Winter.

6 RepliesGot 2 invective, 2 Hawkmoon, one Monte Carlo, new sniper called Hereafter, new Titan helmet, new Hunter helmet, osidian mind, and 3 different arm armor pieces. Used at least 60+ coins. Found that you can stack them ahead of time. At least it seems that way to me. I never got one from popping just one. They stack so usually it would take 4+ coins and kills. If I popped 4 at once, I'd get an exotic within one or two tries. Do it before Monday folks. And get those 3 OF COINS while xur is here!

I used 27 three of coins one right after another. SOW I only received one Exotic The Last Word Such a waste I used 6 more on Gate Lord Got nothing but blue engrams This was my first time ever dealing with XUR As i am a very new player to Destiny So i dont understand a whole lot yet

It works on eye of the gate lord just don't kill you and the boss just kill him
