This new gear "they" speak of?
Soo is it just me or is it just really hard to accept the fact that all of our really cool raid gear and exotics are now on the same level as a Green Uncommon and Blue Rares? Its like I don't even wanna use these cool new guns you have given me Bungie, I still like my old stuff!
What's your guys thoughts on the new guns, armor and having to put on "green" on again?

I was pretty pissed that my first 10 primaries were pants, even though they were 200 ish. But the auto rifle I found changed my mind. Not used it a massive amount but I like it alot :)

3 RepliesI was kinda happy until I got a pair of blue boots for my titan that look exactly like my Kabr's forceful Greaves. Like really? You have to copy and paste all the time?

I don't think it's "just" you, but it definitely isn't me. Maybe you and a lot of other players have never played any of the games ranging from Super Mario Bros 3 to World of Warcraft where you constantly acquire, change and eventually abandon weapons, but I've been playing these games my whole life so the idea is pretty familiar to me.getting new gear to try out is exciting and fun. Having a handcannon or helmet drop off a Taken enemy thats better than what I have right now is neat.

Meh it's nice to look at my load out and not feel like the futuristic version of Barney. That being said, I have some Vex on Venus who kicked my ass bc I'm not decked out in purple, as if I'm in some purple nightmare dreamt up by a five year old girl. And I can't wait to go back and kill them all. In a living light socket and god help those who think they can come against me and live

1 Replyfelt great. i was looking forward to the change and newness (is that a word?). yeah i love my old raid gear and exotics but damn it was getting pretty lame having the same loadouts for every single activity. TTK brings a freshness that keeps me interested. i know a lot of guys are salty that their year 1 stuff isn't getting carried forward. for me personally, i like the change. to have to start with greens, work my way up to blues, than purples, and finally some brand spanking new exotics. this keeps me engaged. it's good strategy on bungie's part, business-wise and content-wise. yeah i was one of those salty guys that was bitching and moaning when they first announced all my raid and exotics were being left behind. today i find the game fun and new again. looking back, i feel like i was being like my grand folks whining about the good old days. time to embrace change.

3 RepliesIt definitely felt "wrong" today having to put on greens and blues over purples in order to advance. At the same time, I feel like there's something substantial to do in the game again, even if it's only because Bungie hit the reset button. I'm kinda over getting upset about a bunch of 1's and 0's. I just hope this all builds toward a better overall experience with Destiny 2, and that Bungie has a more concise view on what the game is supposed to be the next time around.

Interesting to say the least. However I am not too far off 40 and should be grinding out Legendary Marks tonight.

I've been unlocking and deleting things and it felt strange. I'm still keeping a couple of pieces for crucible until I get some good legendary gear since level means squat in vanilla crucible. For trials and iron banner the people grinding like a bitch will be at a huge advantage.

I didn't mind it. It did feel weird dismantling some OG 34 Iron Banner gauntlets just to make room for a blue engram though..
