I figured out what each class is best at
PVP
First is warlock, with their long range melee and self rez super they are a force to be reckoned with in the crucible
Secondly is the hunter, the main thing that puts hem in front of the titans is the overly powerful supers
Titans, titans really don't have to much that makes them stand out in the crucible
Lone Wolf PVE
In first are hunters, their supers let them make up for the damage lost by not having two other fire team members
Next are titans, with their bubble shield and aoe strike they can hold their own when alone, plus with the defenders ability to provide them self with a strong defense against everything that is thrown at them
Lastly, Warlocks, warlocks have the self rez which can help if you die but I had to put the other two ahead of it because the other two have abilities to make it so that you won't die, not just a way to get you back on your feet when you do die
PVP/PVE Support
Titan, their shield can provide cover for allies while they may be in a fire fight or capturing a point, along with providing a way to clear a room with the fist of havoc
Warlocks, warlocks excel more in small scale game modes, trials, doubles, salvage, because they can self rez and get beck into the fight which is a massive benefits when in a small engagement
Hunters, hunter really offer no support at all, so it really wasn't hard putting them at the bottom of the list
And to clear things up

3 RepliesCompletely off. Titans are a PvE build. Super destroys hordes of enemies, decent melee ability and grenades that mainly focus on taking out one or two enemies in PvP, or deal heavy damage to yellow health enemies. Defenders of course with their bubble are meant for support and the like. Hunters, until TTK, were pure PvP. With OHK supers that can be controlled, they were a favorite. Their supers tickle yellow health enemies in PvE. Few lethal grenades, but useful melee abilities. Gunslinger was meant to be used with snipers and from a distance, when bladedancers are up close and personal with shotty Warlocks are the perfect combo of both. Nova bomb works well on mobs, and defending flags, and sunsinger was the savior of nightfalls and if used correctly, a tank in PvP. Good distance melee work well in any situation, and grenades are more focused on taking out groups of enemies rather than single players.

Okay for the most part I agree, except hunters do excel at PVP and Titans are tanks, they can take the most punishment compared to hunters and warlocks. People often forget this! Second: hunters have no support role!? Really!? Yes warlocks have self res, Titans have a bubble which is super handy. Hunters have invisibility. I usually main as a hunter, and most often it's the invisibility that has been considered one of the best ways to revive teammates (especially in PVE) because adds ignore you and in PVP you are in general harder to hit or it's easier to sneak past people of you know what you are doing. So yes hunters can serve a supporting role and if done right, just as well as the other two classes Not telling you to change the ranks, though I find that each person will probably rank each class differently depending on their experiences.

Titan - PvE Hunter - PvP Warlock - balanced at both

Bad juju, obsidian mind, nova bombs all day pve death.

Warlock for PVE, especially for nightfalls because of the self res. Damage scales based on amount of people In a party so hunter is not necessarily the best for solo.

2 RepliesSkill= best in PVP. I main a voidwalker for PvE. I go lone wolf. My internet is sometimes is bad that I end up doing dragon strikes by myself and I don't use radiance. Self Rez is my least favorite perk. I would rather have anything but self Rez as a radiance modifier.

11 RepliesWarlock PvE. Seriously he's my best lone wolf. Even before I got The Ram. Obviously I main a warlock, my best friend mains a Hunter. When we go PvE together what we do often goes hand in hand, but believe me, I am the spear and he is the sword following.

2 RepliesI mained a hunter till I built a titan for PvE. Titans are much better, imo. Warlock is best in PvP.
