Denied a bladedancer a kill by jumping off a cliff
Shores of time* At zone c a bladedancer popped his super right next to me but got the guy behind me instead so i knew i was gonna die so i ran towards the cliffs and as he was chasing me a blinked and killed myself thus denying him the kills and points for his team.

That's the best strategy for any map with cliffs when a blade dancer is about to get you. If you can end him, lead him to his own death.

43 RepliesWhat I believe is best. Trials of Osiris Thieves Den We spawned outside by zone A. 4 Tie Game: 4-4 Both Enemies Down to allies supers, both allies are down due to guns. Me and One other guy left. He charges me with blade dancer, I frantically run away and go to where A is I get my arc blade. I run and jump off the map He follows being the idiot he is, His arc blade runs out He starts falling to his death thinking he won. I pop my arc blade and propel myself back to the map. I land and survive One of the warlocks pop his self Rez, I run straight at him. I use the Khepris sting, I hop over his head, And deliver a punishing melee To end the game To give me my first flawless.

I deny them with my own super, especially like doing it with my own blade dance. Or you know I just run the hell away if I don't have enough space to gun them down. Jumping off a cliff seems like an amusing way to deny points but hurts your K/D so I think I'll stick with my GTFO method if I'm not in a good position to just kill the dude.

Happened to me on Twilight Gap yesterday...I pop Bladedancer, guy runs and jumps off the side. I wave and go kill his teammate.

6 RepliesIf you're a Titan or warlock blade dancers aren't hard to counter in the open. Just jump and stay above them. Throw grenades, preferably the better kind. Shoot while above and descending and Melee on your land and jump again. It hectic but if timed right they tend to zip past you, or don't know where you are and when high enough they won't zone lock on you. Just stay above though. Too far in front and they can spot you and jump up for the kill. It doesn't work 100% of the time but nothing better than denying a blade dancer an extra kill or stopping him before he even start lol.

2 RepliesI've noticed a lot of people doing this lately. I find it ridiculous. Popping bladedance is nearly suicide now unless you're good with it. They're easily shut down. So many others save their supers just for them out of spite.

18 RepliesEdited by TheGodAmongMen: 8/7/2015 2:31:46 PMI just kill them. Bladedancer is the easiest super to kill 1v1. All you need to do is shotgun+melee and they die. Sometimes they kill you also, but you still kill them. Meaning you traded 1 special round for trading kills and their super. Either way its worth it. This is coming from a hunter/bladedancer main also.
