The player base is looking forward to future space updates. … Companion choices in the most recent software update are virtually unlimited although switching companions in game can also have more realistic consequences than most other games. … it offers very realistic night and day simulations, as well as awesome weather modes. Although some of the weather modes can have more severe consequences than most other games. … The game starts you off in a random circumstance. Random as far as sex, race, starting point on the game map, time in the history of the game, etc. Recent game updates have allowed for some character modifications. … Access to weapons, food and other important character equipment can be limited by region of the game map. But in many cases, character are free to relocate to another region unless disqualified by some game rule or player base consensus. … A common criticism, the game has become widely know as Pay to Win. … Although the game rules indicate players have a wide range of choices available for their character development, players often feel the invisible hand of the developer, as far as their play style and character choices. … Most times reporting game issues to the developer go unanswered, leaving the player base with the impression of very little customer support, or finding the support mechanism difficult to follow. … There is a lot to like about this game, although some might say it's just a little too real and a little unfair, well sometimes really unfair. But hey, it has some very sophisticated random generation luck mechanics. … Once you start the game, you pretty much have to play until the developer shuts down the servers, or at least your individual server access is revoked. … It is possible to quit the game, although it's widely believed the Game's Online Director really frowns upon gamers who quit early, limiting those player's access to any future content. ...
