HB 1747 would make it a crime of “disorderly conduct” for transgender people who have not been able to change the gender marker on their driver’s license or other ID to enter public restrooms corresponding with their gender identity.
HB 1748 would make it a Class A misdemeanor — punishable by up to one year in jail and a maximum $4,000 fine — for any person 13 years or older to use a restroom that does not match the “gender established at the individual’s birth or by the individual’s chromosomes.”
It would also make it a state jail felony — punishable by up to two years in prison and a maximum $10,000 fine — for Texas building owners to allow any person seven years or older to use a restroom that does not fit his or her birth-assigned sex or chromosomes.
Why is this necessary, exactly? What a gross invasion on privacy. Just let people go to the bathroom in peace.

Good. Do not want a fat chick with a dick I. The men's bathroom.

9 RepliesLegally it is correct, if you are legally a woman you may use the woman's restroom, but if you're legally a man you shouldn't go in a womans. Example-man/woman walks in woman's/mans restroom and says he identifies as a woman/man, and they can stay because equality. But what if they were actually a rapist or just a pervert? This helps people weed out people who don't belong, stop being so sensitive that you don't see the whole picture.

People are so uptight.

This is why I'm glad to live where I live
i live in Texas, nothing necessarily against transgenders but I'm glad that Texas is so independent
Good. I love Texas.

1 Replymakes people comply with their sex when it comes to interacting with people of the other sex. makes sure men go to the men's room and women go to the women's room sounds fair to me. you can identify your gender as whatever you want its flexible but sex is static women shouldn't have to worry about men coming in the bathroom just cuz they identify as women or vice versa.

Edited by kryple: 11/12/2015 4:56:35 AMWell look at that. Texas doing something right. I can back this. Nice to see a majority in here are sane.

Because you opened this. you will get kissed on Friday by the person you love or like. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. Do not break this chain. You have 2 minutes this is not a fake...apparently. Forward this to 15 people in the next 15 minutes and you WILL have the best day of your life tomorrow. You're number one crush will either KISS, ask you out, or call you. If you break this chain, the little girl named Kaitlyn who died 2 years ago on a car crash will be in your room TONIGHT! Good luck <<3, and your time starts, right know No Cheatin Haha

Passing a bill is different than proposing a bill, just so you know
What about the people who have it changed on their driver's license/other ID....

4 RepliesSo long as you look the part, I don't think anyone is gonna pay much attention. Some of those trannys look just like women sometimes, until you take them home and find their "surprise." My superintendent's buddy had an experience with that down in Mexico once. He said they were the most beautiful women he's ever been with, and the best head he's ever gotten too lol. This was all before finding out from a local gentlemen that the place he visited was well known for their "chicks with dicks" lol.

There definitely needs to be more trans rights, more support, all of that. But tumblrinas that invent a gender other than male or female should not be entertained.
