Well my fellow guardians, it's time. I have mained a titan since beta. I grew three of them from nothing and like to think I titan pretty hard.
Over the past several weeks RNG has decided it wants me to make a warlock. I have obsidian mind, sun breakers, voidfang vestments, and legendary chest, helm, gauntlets, and boots.
No more excuses.
After I run the nightfall and weekly with one of my Titans tomorrow, I will say farewell to him and create a warlock.
Any advice about playstyle, builds, or general warlock badassery would be appreciated.
And remember, we are all in this together.
Thank you kindly fellow guardians!

6 RespuestasFocus on your discipline and intellect, you'll want fast grenades for sunsinger and fast super for voidwalker.
-
1 RespuestaMake sure that you use your melee to push your friends off the map.

4 RespuestasEditado por H1jAcK: 2/9/2015 9:10:10 PMDepends on your focus, but I'd suggest leveling Sunsinger first. Fireborn will always be useful for cheats of some sort I'm PvE, and is, in my opinion, the best class for PvE. Overshield on melee, two grenades, Radiant Skin for insane supers (feels stronger than Bladedancer, to me), and if you get Claws of Ahamkara, double melee cooldown. Voidwalker has blink, easily better than the Sunsinger jumps, but I don't like the Voidwalker play style. Also, don't waste your time on Angel of Light. You will die. A lot. Also, your jump is totally different. You have no thrust, it just keeps you on whatever path you were already taking. So if your angle is up, you will glide up. If your angle is down, you won't be gaining any height. It takes some practice, especially coming from Titan, but you'll get there.

1 RespuestaStart with sunsinger, double tap your jumps straight away, use added lift cos control is shit, you have plenty already, use shied buff melee, allows you time to recover so you don't need to hide behind rocks or in bubbles, use hand cannons, true warlock style. Most importantly, get used to carrying teams all the time

2 RespuestasTheir jump is completely different. You don't wait at all. Double taping as soon as you take your first just will give you the most air. I hear people complaining left and right about how bad warlock jumps are, but they're all trying to jump like a hunter.

2 RespuestasBlink is a little tricky but once you figured out how it works it makes you all "I'm over here. No I'm over here. Now I'm over here." And also for nova bomb I've fallen in love with shatter (fires 3 in a 45 degree arc) mixed with annihilate and bloom. Annihilate makes the explosions bigger and bloom makes any enemy killed by your abilities also explode. So sexy and pretty.

2 RespuestasMy exact reason for playing as a warlock ""I found full warlock gear, and almost every warlock exotic.
-
3 RespuestasRun those vodifangs, double fusion grenades and a speed jump if you are pvp oriented.
-
1 RespuestaWhen the jump doesn't go where you want it to, don't scream too loud. You'll wake the neighbors
-
1 RespuestaI don't think heart of the praxic is good paired with fireborn if you're at all good. Sure, you get more for your radiance, but how often do you get to pop it if you don't eat shit frequently? Juju and Obsidian are ridiculous together. 4 supers in two minutes of Crota...I mean.. Any who. Sunbreakers, Viking Funeral.
-
1 RespuestaIf you run support, then Sunsinger is the way to go. But, Voidwalker is more fun imo. Plus there seem to be more exotics made for it. Either way you're set.

2 RespuestasUpgrade sun singer subclass 1st for self revive comes in well handy

1 RespuestaDont waste your time. Seriously

1 RespuestaEditado por Bloody Str1ker: 2/9/2015 8:17:12 PMSince you have an Obsidian mind, start off with voidwalker. The obsidian mind/nova bomb is pure fun. Plus it will get you used to the devastating side a warlock can put on display. Then you can work on Sunsinger. Its not as much fun as throwing nova bombs, UNLESS you happen to procure Heart of Praxic Fire, then you are throwing nades for days. And glide works similarly to Lift. Just a bit less control. It takes some getting used to. But once you do, you will find it to be a great jumping ability. You can travel much further, but not as high as a Titan.

1 RespuestaLOL, I have Wralocks and keep getting Titan gear....
-
10 Respuestaspair the obsidian mind with bad juju if you have it, you'll thank me later.
-
2 RespuestasJust made a warlock and liking it so far. I can't for the life of me choose which bomb to use. Shatter, lance, vortex !!? And is bloom worth a dam? Every other class I've used has clear choices in their skill tree.

1 RespuestaVoid Walker is a little more fun to run, but sunsinger has a lot of defensive skills and self res is very useful in certain parts or the raids
-
1 RespuestaAt the beginning play with void walker but after you reach lvl 20 start leveling up sunsinger so you can unlock fireborn (automatically revives you) it is super-useful in hard raids to revive
-
1 RespuestaThe Warlock's Glide movement ability can be very effective, but may be tricky to get used to. You need to double tap the jump button in rapid succession to get maximum height for the glide. Enjoy your Warlock! :)
