Well my fellow guardians, it's time. I have mained a titan since beta. I grew three of them from nothing and like to think I titan pretty hard.
Over the past several weeks RNG has decided it wants me to make a warlock. I have obsidian mind, sun breakers, voidfang vestments, and legendary chest, helm, gauntlets, and boots.
No more excuses.
After I run the nightfall and weekly with one of my Titans tomorrow, I will say farewell to him and create a warlock.
Any advice about playstyle, builds, or general warlock badassery would be appreciated.
And remember, we are all in this together.
Thank you kindly fellow guardians!

Editado por iBrind: 2/10/2015 11:12:01 AMFloat about slinging sun balls, everyone gets mad jealous because they can't fly... then dance. Play voidwalker and use Voidfang in pvp and you've got the best nades on the whole game. These axiom bolts are relentless tie that with exploding abilities and you wreck campers easily. Nova bomb woth tracking..... launch nova into the air on an open map and it will find someone to kill haha.

5 RespuestasForget what these people say, self rez saves your ass when soloing. My advice? Get obsidian mind. Void bombs... Void bombs everywhere
-
They are squishy compared to titans, yet extremely powerful. Level up sunsinger asap. Fusion nades are sick. Change your play style up and you will see how powerful a warlock is in the right skilled hands. Welcome to the master race.

Self-rez is a last resort!!!
-
Don't be adventurous; getting into a habit self-rez yourself in raids is bad.

Don't run around like a chicken with your head cut off just because you have self rez.

Any grenades or nova bomb can kill you if your to close to the blast, accidentally clipped a wall so many times with a nova bomb, really feel like a dummy when you do those ones

1 Respuestavoidwalker has a blink jump, so you can play like a hunter mixed with better grenades, with those voidfang vestments you will have lots of fun using axion bolts. every now and then you will see enemies in pvp just start running from those. on top of that, you can blink jump into a nova bomb super which throws a lot of players off because its essentially you throwing a fist of havoc with much less risk. the super can be configured differently but the nova bomb is always my go to for damage dealing. switching it to split into three blast mixed with homing ability and exploding enemies is great for PvE hordes, and the lance is a great for big maps where you essentially want to use it like a giant sniper cannon or a anti vehicle cannon. sunsinger can be configured for ramping up friendly supers, becoming a tank, or death reincarnate. its actually quite flexible. a lot of people would go with the revive super. but i feel that when the going gets tough, use the reduced damage, and go in with your machine gun. combine with turbo fast regenerating grenades (fusion grenades and or fire bolts are just nasty) you will be slapping people down left and right. max the sub class out for double grenades while wearing sunbreakers and you can quite literally melt the competition. ive thrown two of those suckers on a control point and gotten 5 kills in a row from people(pvp) trying to cross through it. oh and when your radiance super is active, the melee is practically a one hit kill when its charged so if someone wants to step up and catch that high five, they wont live to count it. the down side is the sunsinger has nothing but glide style jumps, no blink jumping here. the bright side is, if you want to you can become a hover sniper or hand cannon sniper. theres a perk where you can hover while aiming down sights for a short moment. combined with swift aim or a thorn exotic, you can hover long enough to drop three rounds on someone, or two sniper rounds from the VoG raid sniper rifle. on the side note, you can use the voidfang vestments on the sunsinger subclass just for the regenerating grenades on spawn, which is kinda a under handed tactic in rumble games, as you can quite literally just throw fusion grenades (two if max subclass) for quick kills and repeat after death. my main class is a titan, but i have 1 of each class, and i can say that the transition from titan to warlock will not be that hard to get used to and is a good step if you eventually want to try being a hunter.

Prepare to play like a Spartan from Halo, lol

The warlock jump sucks compared to the Titan one... But that warlock melee, so much fun in both pve and pvp. Sunsingers 2 grenades coupled w/ heart of praxic makes solar burn NF a breeze and the nova bomb/ bad juju/ obsidian mind are a ridiculously fun combo for anything with a red health bar. Even though titans have low agility normally, they seem to just be more fluid and easier to maneuver. Expect a slower experience (almost a more tankier experience) with the warlock.
-
I have fun with Nova Bomb in PvE. The glide or float is pretty lame and slow. It's good for NF and VoG if you die often. Just keep ramping that super up. Hunter>Titan>Warlock
-
Dont be selfish with sunsinger and be an ass who uses fireborn at the worst times. It's annoying. Save it for a situation that the team can benefit from if used. (I make a warlock)
-
Gliding will get you killed easily in a horde of enemies
-
It's basically the same as every other class... The jump might take some getting used to, but I feel it's the best in the game. For sunsinger, use flame shield melee, and its your choice on nades. But... The perks for every made igniting enemies, and ignited enemies burn longer/take more damage is crazy with solar nades. Your main choice there is that combo, or two nades and radiance lasting longer. Obviously, I'm sunsinger biased... While it has self res, remember this is a crutch. You can't self res with any other class, so get used to song of flame or radiant skin. You'll go farther with those than being some a hole who never uses super to make orbs. Always keep in mind, warlocks are orb making masters... Keeping your super for your own safety is cowardly.

4 RespuestasAfter using Hunters since beta I recently started a warlock and I can't believe how much easier the game is now. The jump gives me trouble but I eventually get where I need to. You can melee from crazy distance and your health comes back super fast. Doesn't seem to take as much skill as hunters do to master. But that is my personal experience thus far.

1 RespuestaHit that delete character button lol his jump is unbearable
-
The jump isn't that bad. Fun to play void walker is my favorite. Use bloom and that's. And life drain. Best thing in my opinion. Get bad juju maked out, with obsidian mind on and be ready. For a ultimate super fest in pve. In pvp with that helm on you get your super pretty quick as well. Wouldn't use that rifle in pvp yet till the update comes. Use the first jump you get the control one isn't that good. In my opinion again. Yet fun class to play my second favorite character to play as.

Editado por chickengoujohn93: 2/10/2015 7:39:19 AMIntellect and Discipline are your best friend. A nice balance is good for a Voidwalker. Level up Sunsinger first for Nightfall and Hard Raid purposes. If you die, don't self resurrect immediately, self res if nobody can reach to revive you and make sure the vicinity is safe enough if you are resurrecting. This is very important for Nightfalls in particular where some self res on the spot wasting it and all of us end up going to orbit because we got into a difficult situation.
-
While a hunter will know this too- don't use blink outside of crucible. the charge up time, loss of height, and unpredictability is not better than glide. Glide is love. Glide is life. It's the best jump
-
Make sure you delete your LEAST PLAYED Titan because you don't want to lose your best progress through the cryptarch, Eris, vanguard, and any of your factions
-
6 RespuestasYou're going to be squishy. You've been warned.
-
5 Respuestasget ready for the worst jump in destiny. i have all 3 characters and ended up getting rid of my warlock because of the jump.
-
Grind out Sunsinger until you get the shield perk for scorch. In a tight situation? Melee and enemy and have the shield to survive the escape. Feel like an having an op melee in crucible? Throw on the claws and get two charges. It's insane haha

Sunsinger fireborn. Nuf said

Obsidian mind and Bad JUJU combo is FRIKIN SCARY. Use it. Also, the Praxic Fire chest piece is your new Gjallarhorn. Nova Bomb tactics: Blow the crap outta stuff. Use Bloom. Sunsinger: Radiant Skin and the self Rez is your new best friend. Solar flare is the best grenade. Have fun!
