Who benefits from this? Not only do I have to wait a day now but I also need to do at least 23 more Crucible matches, been playing all morning to get Crucible Rank 3, but I hit the cap for marks days ago. Why, Bungie, why?

1 RespuestaSame reason bungie do everything in this game.. To drip feed us and extend the grind so we keep playing.
-
1 RespuestaTo slow progression down. Same with commendations. I have more now than I could ever use now tho. The only real roadblock I faced was lack of Sapphire Wire. I had all the gear for my baby Hunter but no where near enough wire. Ran RoCs to weekly cap on all 3 characters and vaulted every armor engram so the Hunter could turn them in for gear to dismantle. Was a pain.

1 RespuestaBecause the people at Bungie hire chimps in diapers to make decisions about the game. They clap and point and pull suggestions from a huge trash can. The result is a lot of really stupid shit.

3 RespuestasEditado por Trooper06: 2/10/2015 7:21:56 AMThe real question here is why cap the marks you can carry to 200 each? Why cap glimmer at 25k?Why put these caps Into place but not inform the player base at all which forces them to learn the hard way and actually lose out on marks and glimmer bc they didn't realize there was a cap to begin with (happened quite a bit in the first month or so the game was out and was really frustrating). Also, why cap synths at 20 per consumable slot when you could easily up it to 100 so 100 synths don't take up 5 damn slots? Mistakes, I'm sure, brought on by bungie's lack of experience with an inventory system and the player base demand for grinding as much as possible.

Was more for when the game dropped to hinder progress. Not sure the point now.
-
The caps are an attempt to keep everyone on the same playing field and prevent people from advancing too far ahead of other players. Needless to say, the concept failed miserably.
-
13 Respuestasso people wouldn't do roc strikes or play crucible all day and get thousands of marks and not ever do it again
-
8 RespuestasSo yu won't save yur marks
-
14 RespuestasIf you had no cap you could obtain all the guns and upgrades you could by playing nonstop all the time. By having limits bungie slows your progression.
-
23 RespuestasBungie is protecting you from yourself and hoarders.
-
Probably because Bungie likes to put restrictions on virtually worthless currencies.
-
6 RespuestasThe purpose: To slow our progress, thus forcing us to spend more days/weeks playing the game which results in higher number of active accounts so Bungie can brag to investors and media sites. Who benefits; Bungie. (Refer to part one of this post).

14 RespuestasBecause then Christmas players could have hit level 31 on the FIRST day they got the game
-
Not only that there's an overall cap of 200
-
3 RespuestasIt's so the casuals don't get left behind. Otherwise some people would be hitting the mark cap daily and buying everything. It also slows down the ascendant material grind.
-
Editado por TeKnoVKNG23: 2/9/2015 9:00:27 PMIt increases the grind and puts up a block to progression so they can spread the thin content even thinner. Dark Below made it even worse since they increased the price of armor and added in the commendations for chest/helmet and weapons. Now it takes twice as long as it did before to purchase new gear from Vanguard/Factions since you also have to level a reputation rank even if you have the required marks.
-
1 RespuestaMarks =/= Rep. You can keep playing to get Exp., but you just won't get Marks for doing so.
-
To slow you down. Only reason.
-
3 RespuestasFor the people who suck
-
2 RespuestasStart dead orbit or somthing
-
Maintain the grind
-
By having the cap they can draw out play times. It's pretty dumb
-
Because it's a sure fire way to slow progression.
-
To pi$$ us off...

1 RespuestaBecause you aren't suppose to become legend until Bungie wants you to become legend
