Jerks in ROC strikes
So my son and I were playing some ROC strikes and we were matched up with a LvL 32 guy on the Undying Mind strike. He stayed back at the first and we figured he was going to drop out as a lot of people do on that strike. He just kept jumping to his death messing around. So we cleared the first part and went back to see what he was doing. He stops his jumping off and stands there for a minute and then starts shooting at us. We sit for a minute and he sits.
So I report the guy for unhelpful and Inactivity and move on. Half way through he finally joins us. We finished the raid and move on to the next.
Same dude gets matched up for the Devils Lair strike. He stays back again while we push forward. We get to the first darkness part and die to pull him forward. He begins to shoot and punch us instead of helping. I hate being paired with players like this. We ignore him and push forward. We kill Sepkis and the jerk gets rewarded with HARDLIGHT!!! Seriously?!
Ah well, RNG. So we start the next one and he's paired with us again. He follows us around shooting us with his newly acquired HARDLIGHT for a while and then drops out.

3 RespuestasI find this funny.. You have two options. Finish the strike and ignore said person or leave and start another strike. How is posting this issue on the forums at this point going to help..? It has been a known issue since launch and they will either continue to ignore it or actually address it. Post not needed. Just leave when you get paired with losers who go afk, it's not hard. Just leave and make a new match no one is forcing you to play with assholes like that.

That's nothing I've been on several strikes world one guy will just stay on his Sparrow and try to ram and kill people for the entire strike.

Had a friend join in at the end of a nightfall right after the boss died. He got an icebreaker and I got ascendent energy

anytime i get paired with someone like that i leave and join a new strike. i had a guy do that same thing and get SC, Leg engram and 2 leg weapons for literally no kills. its most definitely on purpose because ive left controller during a strike to bathroom and i came back and i wasnt on. it logs you off before strike can finish. they really need to change the RNG crap to either give better stuff to people who do well (can range from not dying, healing and kills) and people who do nothing. ive also been with people who wont heal you (even when theres no enemies) and basically anything else you can think of. Ive even had people add me to their game to play and boot me right before boss is killed so i didnt get any rewards.

One of them finally gets off their sparrow to help, the other continues trying to ram me. Finally we beat Phogoth and boom I got a Hardlight and they got nothing. I already had Hardlight but this one goes up to 331. So I got paired with them again, I spent the entire strike shooting them with my newly acquired Hardlight.

You got 2 different strikes in a row? I call bs. Lol, kidding, but leave the strike screen then re select roc. I always get a different partner. Usually same mission tho

Kill him with a sparrow and don't revive

Next time, run that person into a wall or off a ledge with a sparrow. It can be highly satisfying.

Walk up to a darkness checkpoint and wipe. If he doesn't get the hint then report him and leave. Message the other person in the strike that you're leaving because of the AFKer so he can also leave. Don't reward an inactive by finishing the strike... Just leave.
