Today two very important tidbits came forth about the future of Destiny. The first being that the HoW will drop in "Q2," and the second being the plethora of changes to the guns in the game. Bungie pulled a fast one here. Its a tactic used by many big companies (dropping two big news stories together). By dropping the news that HoW will drop in "Q2," and announcing the weapon changes at the same time, they got people to focus on the immediate issue (gun changes) and not the fact that they have to wait 3 months to play new content. It's a brillant strategy, so I tip my hat. Now Bungie has not confirmed a date for the release of HoW, however, a reddit poster hacked into the game and was able to locate the release date [b]two days before bungie made their announcement[/b] (along with gaining access to all the strikes, weeklys, and armor). [b]The DLC will drop May 19th[/b]. So this means we all have to wait 3 months for new content. This in my opinion is absurd. Most of the people on my friends list have exhausted the Dark Below and now are in limbo. There is absolutely nothing to do in this game for 3 months. It truly sucks. How does everyone else feel? I was able to access vendor weapons, vendor armor, and part of the story. As a result of my analysis, I found that "House of Wolves" is set to unlock on 5/19/15." [b][u]<-- He is the reason why bungie came out and said "Q2" today.[/u] [/b] They had to announce some type of release date since he exposed it, but they kept it vague so that the backlash wouldnt occur. Imagine if they would of said may 19th...lol [b]Edit 2:[/b] I made this post because there are MANY guardians out there who blew through the Dark Below. Not because we played too much, but because there wasnt much content in the expansion. Just doing the weeklys, visiting xur, and running Crota each weak has gotten us all the armor and weapons the DLC offers. So now that many of us are 32, what is there left to do, especially in lieu of the HoW dropping in "Q2"? I understand there are casual gamers and xmas "noobs." They'll have no issues with the May release. The veterans however could be left out to dry.
