Currently there are a few weapon types, as well as specific weapons, that seriously need a buff. They are seriously underutilized mostly due to oversights in design rather than simply being unpopular. They are as follows:
Pulse Rifles
-intended to be the bridge between auto rifles and scout rifles without the benefits of either. Could use more impact as a class.
The "bullet hose"
- These need to go in one of two directions. Either increase the magazine size so they are portable LMGs or increase the stability do they are more accurate. Currently, they are only marginally useful with multiple stability perks.
No Land Beyond
- This weapon makes me believe that there isn't play testing before release of a weapon, due to how bad it is in PvE. Slow fire rate and half critical damage of secondary sniper rifles. Needs a better critical modifier.
Necrochasm
- This one further exemplifies my previous assertion about play-testing. It is the
Weapon of the Dark Below, yet is terrible because it has too low of an impact, too high of a fire rate to control, and not enough of a magazine to be an actual bullet hose. This one, above all else, needs a buff since it's the "new Mythoclast." I'm not expecting it to be broken-good, but I do expect it to be great. Unfortunately, right now it is not even worth being an exotic, let alone being used as your only exotic slot.

3 Respuestas@ necrocasm Why does it not have guaranteed exsplosions?? Legendary weapons have 100% exsplosion on precision kills. Does that make necro a rare???

You can't ask for a nerf on hand cannons, they take real skill to get kills with especially in PvP in comparison to any auto rifle scout rifle and shotgun. I've just about maxed out my Fatebringer and what a pain in the ass that thing was to get used too. Thorn is next on the upgrade list but I don't think it would be fair to nerf a gun that actually takes a bit of skill to use unless you nerf every other gun that is "OP" before hand.
