I have a Hawkmoon that I received from a Nightfall a few weeks ago and it is a great weapon. However, I have been told The Devil You Don't really isn't worth buying from the Vanguard, so what is everyone's opinion about legendary Hand Cannons?

The devil you know
-
TFWPKY 1969 is a really great vendor hand cannon. It has a base magazine size of 10 but can be upped to 13 with field scout.
-
Either a Red Hand, The Devil You Know, or Fatebringer. But Red Hand needs good perks. Fatebringer and the Devil You Know by FAR right now... But Fatebringer is ridiculous. Get one of those.

1 RespuestaIf we're talking pve, fatebringer. pvp would be timur's lash
-
Oh man, serious tie between timur's and devil you know (devil you know is better than the devil you don't ;-) ) There's plenty of good ones, but those two just feel perfect. plus, timur's re-roll can just be fantastic.

4 RespuestasIce Breaker.
-
Word of Crota
-
The Devil You Know. That's what was up in vendor hand cannon gear. Ya know, back when vendors sold awesome stuff.
-
Fatebringer, anyone who says otherwise is a scrub
-
TFWKPY 1969
-
I have the venation lll hand cannon from DO and it has explosive rounds. It's pretty nice
-
Timurs Lash, Word of Crota, Fatebringer
-
Fatebringer. Best legendary hand cannon
-
pre dlc - lord high fixer. Post dlc - timur's lash
-
Compared to pre dlc times all current ones are average at best with few outstanding characteristics. Hand cannons are one area of the game where things have become worse since the dlc. This though is true of all legendary guns really. Pre dlc guns had real character and made a name for themselves. Current ones are so insipid.

3 RespuestasWORD OF CROTA

Fatebringer and The Devil You Know are both killing the game. The stock vendor version of The Devil You Know was SO GOOD. Maybe the best vendor gun yet. Zen Moment, Crowd Control, and Send It.. What more could I ask for??
-
7 RespuestasThe Chance ain't bad. FWC Hand canon. I wouldn't buy it, but wining it in a nightfall like I did is nice.
-
Fatebringer
-
Fatebringer, that's it
-
I'm leveling up my " The Last Word" after that I'll be working on leveling up my Red Hand with explosive rounds. Love my Hawkmoon though.
-
Timurs lash from iron banner, Fatebringer from vog HM, or word of Crota from Crota HM
-
The 1969. Well rounded and it's easy to get.
-
This is a no brainer. TIMUR'S LASH. It hits like a bus and with the ability to re roll your perks , hell get two of em and pick what you want. I picked up return to sender ( kills grant ammo directly to magazine ) and crowd control ( kills grant bonus damage ) with field scout . ( 13 round magazine ) . it does 2192 critical damage . 2192 x13 = 26,296 critical damage per clip. Which doesnt include extra rounds from return to sender. Fatebringer is great , however the only time id prefer it is for the arc damage .

2 RespuestasIf you can't lay hands on Fatebringer, which is technically legendary but not easy to find, being a random raid drop... TFWPKY 1969. Hands down. Great range, impact and ROF. And the perks mean you can stay in a firefight longer than usual. It's my go-to legendary of choice these days.

Editado por Nemaxedout: 1/30/2015 7:55:26 PMThere aren't any great ones worth getting in this DLC in my opinion. I've heard things about the TWFPKY (probably spelled wrong). I have it, but I don't use it. I haven't tested a bunch of them, but here are my opinions: PvE Red Hand IX Fatebringer (I don't have it yet, but it is an amazing weapon.) The Devil You Know (not obtainable anymore, but still one of the best) Hawkmoon (not a PS player, but this is the best hand cannon in the game) PvP Lord High Fixer (not obtainable anymore either, but the third eye perk helps a lot) Thorn (lingering damage is a beast) The Last Word (high rate of fire with the stability upgrades make an amazing combination on a hand cannon) Those are it for now. I'll add more if I think about them.
