I would like any piece of exotic armor for hunters that frees up a perk slot. Titans get helm of inmost light which gives them two free perks(Death from Above and Headstrong), Warlocks get Starfire Protocol which can replace Gift of the Sun; yet Hunter armor doesn't free up any perk slots at all, the closest we get is letting Don't Touch Me replace Stalker but typically if you rely on cloaking you need both since you can't control when Don't a Touch Me procs.
More than anything though I'd love a piece of armor that gives us Chain of Woe and Gunslingers Trance as free perks since it would allow you to keep your precision skills while making either your Throwing Knife (Scavenger & Gambler's Dagger) Golden Gun (Keyhole & Over the Horizon) or a combination of the two more effective.
Or just an exotic that allows Golden Gun to do precision damage...

One is USELESS, the other frees up a grenade buff that compliments fusion grenades the least of the 3 grenades which is the whole point of the chest piece. It's not terrible, but there are far greater choices for exotics.

starfire protocol doesn't give you give of the sun, it give you a second sticky, not solar and not firebolt, just a sticky.

Right, that's why I said it can replace Gift of the Sun not that it actually gives you the perk; I choose my words wisely.

well the way you worded the whole thing about titans helm giving you perks in your skill tree and just thought I would clear up that titans are the only one who get that.

Kinda feel like most of the hunter exotics are crucible tailored. Anyone else see this?
