Hard light is trash, don't waste your time. It's recoil is too high and its damage too low to be considering a good weapon. It's more of an SMG with terrible damage. The only time I see it being useful is for the first part of the crota raid, but thats only because of the armor piercing rounds. I can use a hand cannon with AP rounds of explosive rounds and get the same results.
