Vex Mythoclast and the Crucible
Vex Mythoclast is incredible overpowered in crucible, only the ones who use it do not agree, it is like having a Heavy Ammo all the time its near competitive as Machineguns so it obviously need a nerf in pvp-

It's hardly op. It is a fusion rifle. But unlike others it doesn't shoot 5 or 6 shots in a burst, it fires them individually. Which means you just need to strafe and make yourself a harder target. If you just stand there like so many people do, the head shots are easy. And you will die. Don't try to trade shots with the thing unless you have a thorn or last word with high caliber rounds.

The vex is a fusion rifle that shoots it's projectiles individually instead of all at the same time. Very fast moving targets can maneuver around it. If you have high agility and know how to strafe well, this gun isn't op at all let alone 'great'. I do use this guy after I got it a couple weeks ago and I love it. I love seeing people put theirs on after I kill them with it a couple times just to see them lose because of their lack if knowledge of the guy and how to work around it. Like many others have post it's the user that makes a weapon good. Just because I win a rumble game with the starting level 1 auto rifle, doesn't mean it needs a nerf. (Not a pro player but have had games where I've won with it lol it's fun)

Not true. Any kind of distance and it's worthless in PvP. Suros is still where it's at

2 RespuestasAdjust your play style. Quit running around with a shotgun in crucible, keep your distance and you will be fine. The Vex should be a little OP. But the range is not great. Find a solid primary with good range and you won't have to come onto the forums to post about the Vex being OP.

Red death is better all around. I only use my vex when I'm doing the master blaster bounty. I never get merked by a vex unless they catch me coming around a corner or out of a doorway. And the only reason why is because I wasn't paying attention not because it's some god weapon.

Easy solution; fight at range with one of the following weapons: Thorn, Hawkmoon, Suros Regime, Three little words(crucible pulse rifle), any other good handcannon not named the last word, or any good scout rifle. Problem solved beat mythoclasts all day.

Yes, I believe under equal footing, the Vex is probably more powerful than most weapons, but it should be. It's the premier weapon in the game before the dlc hit. Nerfing it would be an insult to the legend. In my opinion, the only time the Vex is unfair is when I come up against an entire premade team that is using it, and yes, that does happen. When it does, I quit the game and leave the lobby. The other team should be ashamed of themselves.

You know, it's a little op. Not so much that it's game breaking though. I'm pretty ok and I'd say I take them out with a HC 1-1 40-50% of the time. Noticeably more powerful than a standard primary, but as someone pointed out, it should be. Not easy to get.

1 RespuestaI did a lot better with my 300 attack Timur's Lash in Iron Banner so this is unconvincing to me. I was never troubled by the Mythoclast and I played a lot of PvP to get to Rank 5 IB. I sometimes used my Mythoclast but I didn't do any better.

Suros would own a vex at mid-long range. The Last Word would destroy the vex up close. There are guns which can compete.

The vex is not overpowered for pvp at all, its good, very good, but no where near overpowered

You need to take off that competitive tag because you aren't competitive if you can't compete. Also it shouldn't be nerfed because it's the hardest gun to get in the game! It is supposed to be OP you whiner. Just wait you'll get it after it's nerfed and say it needs a "Buff". Ps: I dot have it so I'm not being bias.

It can easily be countered by TLW or Thorn. It's not op, get better.

But you have to understand that the Vex is a mid-CQ weapon. If another player was playing for ex. Suros, the Suros would win from mid-long range. You just have to know how to play against it. The Vex sucks in long range shooting. I played plenty of times against people who use the Vex and it's been even ground so far.

Do the Vault on Hard and actually earn the weapon and see if it is as good for you as you think it is. If you can't do the Vault on hard even with level 30+ you shouldn't complain about a weapon you fail to obtain. Plus The Last Word is a god gun in Crucible that does 110 for a headshot that was hip-fired so if anything that would deserve a nerf before they touch the Mythoclast again.

If You had it, You wouldnt say it's op. It sucks at range, it sucks shooting at moving targets. It's just that the gun is overhyped, it's not op. Don't cry about something you never had.
