Vex Mythoclast and the Crucible
Vex Mythoclast is incredible overpowered in crucible, only the ones who use it do not agree, it is like having a Heavy Ammo all the time its near competitive as Machineguns so it obviously need a nerf in pvp-

I see you primarily use the hawkmoon and thorn. I'm guessing you're a sit back and shoto the folks on the point type of guy (or sniping with your hawkmoon)vs close to mid range which is shotgun and vex nation. You're a top 1% ranked player. You the real MVP!

I have Vex and agree that it is indeed OP. It is unstoppable at short to mid range. Not as lethal at larger distances.

5 RespuestasKeep in mind Vex is a exotic primary, so it should be on par with guns like Thorn or Suros....and it is. I don't agree with nerfs, but I lol at people who think it "isn't that great". In the right hands Vex is one of the best Crucible weapons in the game, by far. Try keeping up with a good Vex user with any good auto rifle in the game, when you both get each other into your sights at the same time. Tell me it "isn't as good as everyone says". People who say that either use the Vex and aren't that good with it, or they haven't fought against a good Vex player yet.

If you attempt a dmg race with the vex you will more then likely lose unless your putting out consistent headshots with a high impact hand cannon or good auto rifle i.e. Suros regimen. If you do not score the first hit, do not shoot back unless a teammate is also aiming at your target or the targets aim goes to Sh!t and starts to miss. Use range to your advantage as the vex isn't that great at medium-long ranges. This has helped me tremendously, good luck!

1 RespuestaI don't got a vex, but I can easily melt a vex user in pvp with my thorn, for the people, timurs lash or even my monte carlo the key to win a 1vs1 against a vex is to know how to use your guns perfectly and use the disavantages of the vex to your advantage so ltp or get a vex and play with it and recognize that it isn't taht OP than you thought

The vex is a very powerful short-mid range sub machine gun with a slow ROF. It's a great weapon, but def not overpowered. Anyone with good aim and a gun that has a faster ROF or a gun that out ranges the vex can kill a vex user. Don't charge a vex user around a corner into the B flag, we are just WAITING for that.

You must not have one. It's not that great outside of short range. It's very inaccurate. I rarely if ever use it in PvP. Is Mythoclast good? Yes, as it should be. But it's no better than any of the other prized exotic primary weapons like Suros, Thorn, TLW...

It used to be if someone had that gun in the crucible you knew it would be a one sided game. I think they needed needed that gun harder than any gun in the game. Hard enough to where that had to buff it again. So be happy with how it is now.

It's hardly op. It is a fusion rifle. But unlike others it doesn't shoot 5 or 6 shots in a burst, it fires them individually. Which means you just need to strafe and make yourself a harder target. If you just stand there like so many people do, the head shots are easy. And you will die. Don't try to trade shots with the thing unless you have a thorn or last word with high caliber rounds.
