This is the worst community I've ever seen.
I've played a lot of MMO's, and this game has by far the most immature community I've ever seen. I guess it should be expected when you combine all the Halo & CoD kids into one forum, but my god. 9/10 threads here make my brain bleed.
There is pretty much zero useful information you will find on these forums. That's got to be an all time low for the MMO world.
And it's not like it's going to get any better.

I agree but for the love of god, stop calling it an MMO. If you really have played other MMOs then you would know that aside from having loot and a raid, this game has almost nothing that would make it even close to being an MMO.

I disagree. Iv interacted with many nice, kind and intelligent people here. Yes there are a few rotten apples but for the most part iv enjoyed my stay here. I would say the absolute worst place iv seen is the comment section of IGN. I feel like taking a shower after visiting there.

Actually it will get better. Most of the cry babies are the 'hardcores" who can find nothing to but complain. WOW and Everquest had them too, and they filtered out onto the next big thing. Most of the big threads that are complaining are 13 yr old kids jumping up and down saying "look at me, I am special, I deserve more from you". If they spent that time and energy enjoying the game with their friends they would be a lot happier. Give it some time, things will change.

This was a little pointless and certainly a setup for people who were trying to be supportive of your predicament. That would be like me telling you my brother just destroyed my entire wardrobe because he thought I cared too much about how I look and you calling him a "real dick" playfully only to have me respond like "HA! CAUGHT YOU, YOU BIG JERK! MY BROTHER HAS CANCER AND YOU DON'T SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! YOU SHINE US ALL IN A BAD LIGHT" I sincerely hope this was just an attention troll and you aren't like this in real life. If so, you might consider sucking less.

Some of the people posting are just proving the guys point. Most of the dicks on here that troll and enjoy argument's are the one's who haven't even got the imagination to make a thread, that's what annoys me most.

World of Warcraft has the third worst. Destiny's community consists of old veteran Halo players, which are generally the nicer people on these forums and the other half... The people who made accounts on these forums just before or shortly after Destiny came out. These are the idiots and little kids on the forums.

I actually came here to see what the fourms really were today since i've been playing the game for quite some time but never got into the online community. I disagree, sure there are a lot of useless threads or people complaining about shit but if you sort by up vote you'll see the community supports positive feedback and humorous threads. Silly complaints don't get upvoted and crude comments are down voted. Anyway my 2 cents cheers.

Thank you for participating in the horrible community. You post about most posts having zero useful info, but yet have zero useful info in your post.. Also, quit comparing Destiny to an MMO. You can only have, at most, 5 other people on your team in Destiny. In Halo, you can have 7 others on your team, in Battlefield 4, you can have 32, which is more than the Tower can even hold. So, it's not "Massively" Multiplayer, more like "Smallish" Multiplayer, so call it an SMO. If you can't call Battlefield 4 an MMO, then you shouldn't call Destiny that. And if you use leveling up and getting new gear and weapons as your basis for calling it an MMO, that doesn't make any damn sense either because you do the same in a host of games, like Final Fantasy 1-10 & 12-13, Skyrim, Mass Effect 1, etc. None of those games feature any multiplayer or online at all, and they are pretty much constant weapon and gear switching in those games. So now the MMO moniker doesn't fit at all for Destiny. There's some useful info, see I am making this forum a better place to be.

The issue is that this game was advertised to a lot of the 'shooter bros' who are used to mindlessly playing COD team deathmatches, It's also not halo either. I like what destiny is, but I don't compare it to anything else either. Plus, the Toxic minority are just incredibly vocal. 99% of the players I meet in game are good people to play with.

It doesn't help that there is not enough moderators to delete the numerous duplicate posts and remove the people purely here to abuse/ridicule others. It would be a great forum if not for this. There are some good people on here though, up for helping, giving advice but seems it's the minority.
