This is the worst community I've ever seen.
I've played a lot of MMO's, and this game has by far the most immature community I've ever seen. I guess it should be expected when you combine all the Halo & CoD kids into one forum, but my god. 9/10 threads here make my brain bleed.
There is pretty much zero useful information you will find on these forums. That's got to be an all time low for the MMO world.
And it's not like it's going to get any better.

'Worst" is a bit steep. Overly passionate, impatient, short sighted perhaps. A community is after all individuals all with their own opinions. Its typical that the negative ones are more prone to post in order to vent their frustrations to find justification for their feelings. Just don't feed it, its the best way to extinguish the negativity. They will eventually move on to other things, maybe leaving the forum for more enlightening, and helpful discussions...It is after all what we make it out to be!

Not an MMO. Don't compare to MMO sites. I disagree though. I have seen the CoD community for the last 5 years and it takes immaturity to a whole new level. There have been some fun and interesting discussions here. Can't say the same for CoD. Perhaps you just want to see the bad and refuse to see the good. Then again, what do I know?

1 RespuestaConsidering the people I've played with in game are probably the nicest group I've ever come across, I'm guessing the toxicity is a byproduct of people's discontent with the game and Bungie's self-imposed expectations it hasn't lived up to. They can't even address the simplest things like heavy ammo and vault space. They're either incompetent or don't care. If you want consumers who are happy to take it all in, try the destiny circlejerk on reddit.

4 RespuestasI'd say 99% of the frequent users are absolutely useless. Actually, it feels there's a massive constant effort to make the forum more toxic everyday. It's so rare to see someone being nice or useful here. And when we find one, there're thousands of trolls to attack him/her, kids being grotesquely stupid towards people they don't know anything about. Indeed, so far, in 28 years gaming and 18 of everyday Internet use, I have never seeing a community so toxic.
