To be fair most games these days are a let down. I'm a gamer through and through but compared to the games of old most of them don't stack up. I can remember pretty much every part of shenmue, couldn't tell you jack about the new COD or many other titles of late bar a few exceptions. They don't have that 'magic' they used to have. In my opinion anyway.

9 RespuestasAt least the game worked at launch. That's more than you can say for most of the games launched between the Holiday 2013 & Holiday 2014 seasons. Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed Unity and Master Chief Collection were all completely broken and unplayable at launch. So for the simple fact that the game worked for the majority of people at launch makes it a better game than all of the broken and incomplete products released by Microsoft, EA & Ubisoft in the last year.

Thats ok. He is right,but the game is still fun,still has a massive and growing playerbase, and is still making bungie and activision a boatload of dough. So win win lose good enough for me

I would have to agree with him as far as my level of disappointment with Destiny compared to other block buster titles I pre-ordered, like COD AW- I wasn't disappointed with it as I already expected a turd and it didn't fail to live up to it's expectation. However, I can honestly say I have gotten more than my $$$ worth in entertainment from the game! Do I 'love' the game? -No. But I do enjoy it enough to play it still.

Disappointing doesn't mean "bad". Take Titanfall for example, he said himself he enjoyed the game a lot. He was disappointed because of the lack of content. I agree with that completely. It's basically the same thing with Destiny. It is a very addictive game and can be pretty fun, but it's not half of what was advertised. That tends to increase the disappointment, especially when the cons outweight the pros.

44 RespuestasDestiny is all I play and have wanted to lay since September, 350+ hours and showing no signs of becoming bored. This dude is probably like every other brat gamer who got their expectations too high because the don't do their research! How people played the beta and still bought the game thinking it would be different from what they played is funny as hell to me! I'm glad I'm mature enough to make my own choices.

He loses his temper to often to be taken seriously and often ends up sounding like a 14 year old who doesn't understand game development. He doesn't offer much in the way of real criticism and much of the things he complains about were fixed. It sounds to me like he's disappointed that destiny isn't the elder scrolls in space that he wanted.
