This Is Why We Don't Have Trading. -DeeJ
So I saw this video on the forums. It's a great video overall but a lot of people ask why we don't have trading and at 8:41 in the video he tell's you pretty much why. Overall a great video might answer some things you were wondering about as well.

8 RespuestasI like what someone else said on this forum "there is no earn in RNG" and this fits with 80% of my crucible matches where the lowest k/d or lowest effort gets the gear. Rng is not earning, it is luck.

Another example, perhaps? -Where'd you get that sexy Hawkmoon? -Lost in Crucible, came in with 0.2 K/D. The game does not reward effort at all. You can join one of your friends as they finish Nightfall, and with 0 kills you can get things much better than your said friend.

That "reason" would be a fair one if earning exotics was actually a challenge. currently the story exotics tell= "man that was awful." "what happened?" "I just got throttled in pvp. couldn't even leave my spawn because they were sniping us as we spawned." "that sounds harsh Bungie should work on their spawns huh?" "maybe...but there was an upside." "what was that?" "I got -insert sought after exotic here-!" I'm sure Bungie's think tank didn't intend for that story.

They dont have trading so that we are forced to play destiny and grind for hours. Its all about stats to them. How many players, how long they play for, etc etc. I can tell you if destiny was the game we were promised i would be playing it twice as much. Last few days i havent bothered to play simply because im over the recycled bounties and lvl 26 strikes are a little dull. Come on bungie pull your finger out.

I remember watching this video awhile back. It fueled my Destiny fire, along with all of Bungie's Destiny documentary vids. Ugh. Too bad it was mostly bullshit.

Hold on, was this the way bungie had envisioned us playing?

I normally criticise the loot system, I've got a video clip of a game of control where literally the worst player gets the gjallarhorn... Or last week when my 31 Titan did nightfall with a pair of 32's, they both got exotics (inc a ghorn) - I got a purple pulse rifle... Gee thanks! However I had a great day today for loot, my level 29 warlock got Suros in the nightfall, VoC in the Vault of Glass & 2 really good legendary engrams from a cryptarch level increase. It's so random, somedays you get sh@t on, somedays your luck is in!
