am I ready for vog?
Level 30 hunter, only just got my first legendary primary weapon but I'm about to buy the Saterienne Rapier tonight.
Is it even worth me attempting the raid yet or am I still not ready for it yet?

I think you are truly the only one that can answer that question. Just get in and give it a go. But don't be afraid to admit to your team that you're just not getting it. And listen to what the experienced people say. Don't argue with them. That was the only reason my group ever kicked a newcomer.

You are ready for normal, sort of. Get the weapons leveled up more and you should be OK.

We entered the vog hard as 29s and 30s and finished it way before TDB DLC yeah youll be fine but still duck you can always still die which some people don't understand

Your Super Good Advise will be amazing for killing Oracles though so you can tackle Hard once you get it maxed out (331) and get any primary to 331. You will also want a void weapon of some kind as special at >300 (assuming you run SGA everytime). TL;DR - Normal = Yes, quite easily actually Hard = Close but not quite yet To put it in perspective I ran my buddy through Vault last week as a 24 with only 5 guys (other 4 had 50+ raid clears each and he did it on another system prior to first Xbox run). He had blue everything except for a Devil You Don't with a 5 round clip no upgrades. You are 6 levels higher than him all with better weapons. As long as you find a group that will explain things to you you'll be fine.

1 RespuestaYes for normal, but get some raid weapons for oracles on hard. VoG weapons have bonus damage to oracles and that helps a lot.

You should start out with normal VoG just to get use to it as soon as you feel confident switch to hard raid make sure you watch vids so u wont go in completely clueless good luck bud

normal mode, absolutely. You would have been ready at 27. I went in at 26 with no legendary weapons. I didn't do too well, but i wasn't awful either, other than learning the different parts. Just grab some people with experience.

I would definitely go for normal. With your level at 30 already you should have pretty good damage resistance but I'd work on leveling up your weapons as much as possible while you're waiting for a group. Don't be afraid to ask questions; anyone worth their salt will help you out and tell you what's going on. If you're on PS4 I'm always looking for a chance to raid: SolarisPhoenix.

you should -blam!- on normal, just because of your lvl. Do it a few times on normal and get some of the raid weapons. Then you will be fine on hard. You really need a ice breaker, or a raid weapon with oracle disruptor to be decent in hard. Helps to have both :)

I would say max out your weapons (Super Good Advice is great for oracles btw) and try it on normal first.

Get an experienced group and do normal and heck yeah you are ready. Id assume you are talking about vog. Not CE you arent ready for that.
