I do. If you claim that there are no absolute truths, than you are ultimately creating one, which dismantles your argument.

Editado por DemonicChronic: 1/14/2015 11:52:53 PMThe only truth I can say is absolute, without doubt, is that the self exists. This entire life could be nothing more than a relative dream, an illusion, and yet if my being did not exist then I would not be to have a mind, an ego, an identity. None of that would have ever arisen and I would not be able to contemplate the truth behind my existence. My understanding of this, however, is fundamental and intuitive. It goes beyond any sort of intellect I might use to try and define it.

I mean, depends on how you'd like to define truth. I don't see any absolute moral truth, but I suppose math could be defined as an abstract truth at the very least.

I did before coming here, but now I think I'm in the Matrix.

9 RespuestasTruth is a human construct. The "truth" of the sunrise 700 years ago was that the Sun revolved around the Earth. The fact that it was deemed "truth" didn't alter what was really happening, since neither the Sun nor the Earth were aware of or concerned with what people considered to be true about them.

Yes, yet we know none of them. Axiomatic truths can only exist as they are perceived.
