Iron Banner needs an Exotic Offering
I really like Iron Banner, so I would play it even if Saladin wasn't there to sell anything. Still though, it takes a lot of time and effort to complete IB (level 5)... seems to me like its enough of an effort to open up an IB-Exclusive Exotic Weapon for purchase.

One that you can buy for the same amount of strange coins Xur sells for would be nice at rank 5. Everyone would play IB, but they need to improve crucible and get rid of AFKers first.

A special iron banner only exotic for level 10 and 25k glimmer. Now that would be earning it

1 RespuestaI think they should have exotics exclusive to all the special events, but i think you should only be able to upgrade and equip them in that particular event. Like you couldn't equip an iron banner exotic armor/guns for queens wrath et cetera. The items to upgrade them would only drop when that events class item is equipped and the like.

Good idea, I think they should have an exclusive exotic just for the iron banner. Except it will only have a chance to drop for the top player on the winning team

1 RespuestaI don't think Saladin should sell an Exotic weapon, especially not for the cheap cheap prices you suggest! I think Saladin should sell a token that you can only buy at rank 5 for 10000G. Handing Xur 3 of these tokens plus a bunch of strange coins will net you an exotic weapon on the week of IB. The tokens could be saved as "missions" in between IBs, or you could rank up all 3 characters in a single week to be able to make your purchase. Anything less than this amount of grind wouldn't be worth an exotic - this would just be a sort of exotic weapon bounty.

1 RespuestaI was thinking this the other day. There are raid exotics so why not IB ones too? Inwas thinking after you hit rank 5 you have a chance to get it through RNG end gsme rewards.

1 RespuestaMaybe if it had its own special exotics. One for each weapon type. They can be Lord Saladin's personal armory but they can only be dropped during iron banner. Get more people interested

1 RespuestaIt would nice if there was a chance at getting a IB exotic drop after level 5. seems like once I hit 5 & had no interest in playing. i already moved my IB gear to my sub. character.

Maybe at like rank 8 or 9 for 15-20k for an exotic engram. I was rank 5 the morning of day 3. Thats too easy.

Maybe for 25,000 glimmer at rank 5. Why would he sell it for less than the legendary and why would he sell it for less strange coins than Xûr? If time to Rank is your argument think of the following: on Monday, the last day of Iron Banner, with the emblem, shader and class item, as well as the tempering, it will take you 11 hours getting a win in every other match, without any bounties, to hit rank 5 from rank 0. Add 333 rep for each bounty completed and that becomes like 8-9 hours...

Maybe not a purchase but a rare drop only during iron banner, and only if your team wins.

I'd agree but it should cost more like 15+ motes of light not coins (since that's xur) and not glimmor
