thorn bounty is too hard
i think bungie has made the thorn bounty way too hard because the part where you haft to earn 500 points by killing gaurdians with void damage and its five points per kill and each time you die you lose two points like seriously thats way too hard for the people who dont have good enough void weapons for pvp

Editado por ITS A RAMPAGE: 1/10/2015 8:26:20 AMI've just earned my third one. My friend is onto that part as well and was struggling at first but is now on 63/500. My best advice is do it with other people so they can warn you of enemies. Do the vault of glass a few times first, it still gives out some of the best void weapons for this bounty. If the weapons don't drop then try equipping a rare sniper with void, play control and hang back from capture points, sniping any enemies that try to take it. It's not easy if you're bad at crucible (like me) but the trick is not to rush in and if you start dropping points again just take a break for 10 minutes. It's doable, if I can do it 3 times, anyone can! edit: camp over objectives and grab heavy ammo when it drops, you can wipe a team out with a half decent heavy void machine gun. Buy one from the vanguard if necessary.

I did it using a void fusion rifle. And they are right the last part is much harder.

I used to think the same, till decided to complete it for good. Took me a good three days and hell of frustration... But I did it with a Voidwalker Warlock and a rare fusion rifle.

I took my time and didnt burn myself out with it. The next step is Xyor....pretty much a nightfall version of the summoning pits with shielded knights. If you think the pvp part is hard then wait till you get to this part. I solo'd it and it can be done.

Play slower and smarter and it won't take you forever. I think the white bounty took me 4 hours to complete. And don't be afraid to kill without void if you must, better not to die.

I thought that to bud. Until I got hold of The Comedian void shotty. It took a while as I suck at crucible but I got there, much frustration later. Stick with it. Thorn is worth the trouble.

Took less than an hour and a half in crucible. Make a warlock and give void shotgun and mg. Game set match

You don't earn first place in an eating contest without eating anything. So you're not going to earn Thorn if you don't meet it's criteria.

It's not so bad. Go invisible with your blade dancer, and play cheap for a while. Invisible void shotguns on control, invisible heavy machine gun ambushes in control. It's very doable. Took me about 6 matches to do the bounty with this strategy. As long as you don't mind playing slow and from the perimeter, not rushing in mindlessly, and being methodical, as well as receiving a little bit of hate mail, this this strategy should work great.

As long as u manage a kdr of 0.5 every game u will gain points. Play control and just go for kills over objectives.

I thought it was hard as well (i don't do pvp much), but i finished pvp part in less than 2 hours. My KD was around 1.7 and i used all void wep and void walker. I think you should just keep trying, that's the only thing you can do at this point. I think if they remove death penalty then it will be doable to all guardians (similar to bad juju). Good luck hunting guardian.
