i think bungie has made the thorn bounty way too hard because the part where you haft to earn 500 points by killing gaurdians with void damage and its five points per kill and each time you die you lose two points like seriously thats way too hard for the people who dont have good enough void weapons for pvp

Pearydyths revenge and corrective measure got me 500 points in 2-3 hours
-
1 RespuestaGet 5 players, play rumble and you kill them
-
You can do it. I thought the same thing. Took me about 7 or 8 hours but I finally completed the crucible portion of invective, thorn, and bad juju. I've been saving them up because I was dreading the day I had to do them.
-
Like other folks have said, fusion rifles are your friend. Or a shotgun if thats your thing. It's not that hard (and I'm a bad pvp player). It does take time. It does take patience. And it takes practice. Finally, practice the pvp maps. Play control and clash and stick with your team. It can be done by bad pvp players. I'll have mine soon. For Xyor, just find some friends. I'm just taking my time to do my word quests before I finish my thorn.

Thorn is one of the best guns in the game. It should be very hard to acquire. Play Control PvP and be sensible. You can pick off eager opponents. Make sure you learn where Heavy Ammo is dropped. A Maxed Thorn is worth the effort.
-
It's sucks that you're not a Warlock... makes it soooooooo easy. I knocked it out in about an hour.
-
Lol the crucible part is easy, you don't deserve a thorn, we are not all special snowflakes deserving everything to be handed to us.
-
10 RespuestasThat bits easy. Xyor. Now that's a bitch. Especially if you're a solo playing guardian like me. Lvl 28 epic. I'm lvl 31 with pretty much maxed weapons and can't clear the first room. Plus It's an awesome gun. So it SHOULD be hard.
-
Not that hard your over or maybe under thinking it. +5 Points per kill -2 Points per death Two kills per death will get 8 points, 10 kills per match with 1 death for every two kills is 40 points. Get a void special weapon and a void heavy and play cautiously. Good luck Guardian.
-
Then get void weapons, we grind trying to get exotics, if you want thorn getting a void weapon is part of the grind
-
Lol you need atheons epilogue and a good fusion rifle with void or shotgun and a void machine gun it also helps if you have defender sub class or voidwalker. And be in a full fire team so you have more chance of winning. I played it on control.
-
Top tip. Don't tricking die. I did it with truth (heavy) and a sniper rifle. The camped a bit. It's not pretty but it did improve my sniping skills so there is that.
-
1 RespuestaAll you need is a void heavy and fusion rifle, being a warlock doesn't hurt either lol
-
That's what makes it Exotic. If it was easy... well you know the rest.
-
Lolol. It's too hard for people with crap void weapons? No mate. Plenty of people have accomplished it so its you that isn't good enough.
-
A friend of mine with a .9 k/d got it. It just takes time.
-
3 RespuestasNo its not faget. Git gud. Exotics are supposed to be hard to get

Editado por STiLLGoTSKlLL: 1/10/2015 8:58:56 AMThat's why only the GoDs have em
-
Bring a friend, do Rumble and make a game out of it. Use terrible void weapons and make bets to see if you can kill your friend before he melees you/kills you with a grenade/no-scopes you with a sniper. Chances are it'll be easier to get the kills. Don't go sit in a corner and farm him though. That's just sad.
-
Just get a blue or purple fusion rifle. I used a crappy green machine gun too. Just keep at it and you'll get there
-
Then you dont deserve thorn. Nuff said

Baby elephants weigh 250 pounds. That makes them the world largest baby. Right behind your sorry butt.

The reason why I feel only capable players of pvp have this beauty of destruction

2 RespuestasPal, I was 110% with you. I spent 11 straight crucible games sorting it out. Admittedly, I did have Atheon's Epilogue to help me but you just need to play sensibly. Tips: Play conservative. Don't chase almost dead enemies around blind corners. Treat your team as a team, run with a group or single other player (even if they don't know you or can talk to you). Two guns are better than one and so are two targets. Even if the enemy spits and takes aim at you first the confusion of another guardian also taking them out may make them change target or at the very least, be dead before you are. In fact, the team approach is essential. You may not get all the kills BUT you also won't get nearly as many deaths and you may steal a few kills along the way.

The void part is a walk in the park compared to killing xyor

Editado por ITS A RAMPAGE: 1/10/2015 8:26:20 AMI've just earned my third one. My friend is onto that part as well and was struggling at first but is now on 63/500. My best advice is do it with other people so they can warn you of enemies. Do the vault of glass a few times first, it still gives out some of the best void weapons for this bounty. If the weapons don't drop then try equipping a rare sniper with void, play control and hang back from capture points, sniping any enemies that try to take it. It's not easy if you're bad at crucible (like me) but the trick is not to rush in and if you start dropping points again just take a break for 10 minutes. It's doable, if I can do it 3 times, anyone can! edit: camp over objectives and grab heavy ammo when it drops, you can wipe a team out with a half decent heavy void machine gun. Buy one from the vanguard if necessary.
