thorn bounty is too hard
i think bungie has made the thorn bounty way too hard because the part where you haft to earn 500 points by killing gaurdians with void damage and its five points per kill and each time you die you lose two points like seriously thats way too hard for the people who dont have good enough void weapons for pvp

You know what I always wondered about the Thorn bounty (besides it being one of the easiest ones in the game) was why void damage. It's not like Thorn is a void weapon.

I'm running Atheons, the comedian and truth. I'm a hunter too so no void abilities. I think it's fun. Although I will play a little extra campy against good teams.

It was one of the more frustrating bounties when I got it for sure! I didn't have too many efficient killing tools with void and I play so aggressive online I would go from 100- 20 all the time lol. I love the last part, its a fun battle!!!!

The Thorn bounty is very difficult...That is why Bungie buffed the weapon to beyond Exotic status...to Epic level....I suchk at Crucible an it took me a while, but I managed to do it...Be thankful, this bounty will make you git gud at Crucible.

It's not that hard. Run a void fusion rifle if you have to and buy a void machine gun if you don't have one. Stop complaining and Earn that thorn, it's worth it.

Look at it this way. You'll think twice b4 sharding it and covet it three times as much as any other.

Thorn is an exotic weapon. It isn't suppose to be given to you, it's meant to be earned. Especially since it was buffed and has great perks I think the bounty fits the prize. If you struggle to obtain it and think it's too hard then quit the bounty. But if you work through and get it then you'll be more appreciative of it in the end. There are a ton of people who have it now, so if it was truly too hard to obtain we would hardly see anyone with it. I recommend Atheons Epilogue, Preadthys Revenge or Swordbreaker, and corrective measure or truth. I used that combo as a hunter (a character that doesn't have a void subclass accessible) and I completed that segment of the bounty after a few games of control.

It is not hard, just keep your distance and keep moving. Use a fusion rifle also

Finished it in 1 hour with Swordbreaker, void rocket launcher, and voidWalker warlock

Its best to do with a friend. We had void everything but my sniper really saved me as it has penetrating rounds. Took about 5 hours in total. And when I finished I would just run around doing damage and letting him finish them off. If you have a titan or warlock the grenades and supers count so youre lucky. Try getting the bounty on your hunter, you actually have to try

Dude. I used a half upgraded light beware and did it in 5 hours. I think people put too much emphasis on getting this done quickly. They pressure themselves to reach 500 too fast. I did the same thing at first. But then I relaxed and actually tried to ha e fun with it,Not really keeping score, then I started getting the points I needed.

I did it with my hunter so I didn't even get a void super/grenade/melee and I still did it. Just hope your good at crucible. Also don't sweat it too much, thorn isn't all that good, I ended up dismantling it for the exotic shard

Fusion rifle on control. Doesn't need to be legendary, rare will do just fine. Play it safe, stick with at least one other person and have patience.

Use a fusuion rifle, as mentioned below. It doesn't have to be legendary, it can be green or blue. Keep your eye on your radar at all times. Don't get into gun fights you think you'll lose. Don't be ashamed to run and hide for a minute. Play control, you know where to expect to find the enemies and you know where they'll be looking for you. It takes a few hours, but its worth it. Kill Xyor with a couple of buddies and then enjoy your Thorn. Its a beast, its worth the effort.
