thorn bounty is too hard
i think bungie has made the thorn bounty way too hard because the part where you haft to earn 500 points by killing gaurdians with void damage and its five points per kill and each time you die you lose two points like seriously thats way too hard for the people who dont have good enough void weapons for pvp

Get void Shotgun, play control, camp control points. I got it in a couple hours doing it like this.

I did it once... and i just got the bounty again. The first time i did it camping like a champ with the vog sniper rifle and camping the heavy weapon drops to use corrective measure playing control. Camp, camp, and camp some more... if you have a void fusion rifle it will make it easier , i dont... so camp ...

2 RespuestasI just did the throne bounty and passed it and I'm not good in muiti player and I still did it the trick is don't rush inn learn how to camp and get kills and go back and camp again it might take a couple times and it's boring to camp in the corner but I got my gun throne of yeah I'm gald it's hard you can do it , don't giv up if I can do it im sure you can like I said I really suck at muiti player and camping really works and you will get ur gun good luck noob !!!!

1 RespuestaI'm rubbish at crucible but I really wanted the thorn so I got atheons epilogue, a fashion rifle and the truth and kept at it some days I got close than went way down. But eventually I got it and I really enjoy using the gun so keep at it and it will be all worth it

NO!!!!! It took me 3 hours total, and I'm not that good (all time KD 0.80). 1. Get a void shotgun, or fusion rifle. 2. Use the void walker (void super, nades, Melee) or use the defender (void sticky nades). Hunter is hard no extra void stuff. 3. Play control. 4. Play slow and controlled. 5. This sucks but .... bounce if you start to lose a lot. My rule was if I was down 10 points I'd leave. I only did it once. The 5:2 k:d ratio isn't nearly as bad as it seems. 6. If you still can't do it. Too damn bad. Just because you bought the game doesn't mean you automatically get access to every weapon in it. Do people drop off free BMW's on your doorstep.

Void shotgun and support your team mates. Follow them and shoot like crazy. It's easy when you work together.

Not a fan of the void damage requirement for thorn, but it's definitely doable. The first time I did it was with my hunter (no void subclass which really sucked) and the reason I didn't like it was because I had to change my playstyle to get it. Basically play control only and camp zones with a void shotty. It was boring, but I got it done. It was much easier when I did it on my warlock w/atheon's epilogue. If you do the math, assuming all kills are made with void damage, you only need a k/d > 0.4 to make gains to the point total. Now it's pretty apparent that even with a void class and all void weapons, not every kill will be void, but the point stands that you don't actually have to play that well to get the 500 points. That said if you die a lot this part of the bounty can take a long time to complete. Patience and perseverance will do you well here. Thorn is totally worth it.

Crucible is normalized I bought an uncommon void shotgun and finished it in 3 hours.

I used a void damage shotgun in control and I completed the bounty in a couple of hours.

Just do what all the other horrible players who couldn't get this bounty done did. Start a fireteam of 3, Join rumble with friends and have them run to you so you can kill them. They also protect you by tag teaming the other 3 strangers! !!

My brother. I know your pain. Long have I grinded and long have the gods not smiled in my favor. I set out to finish this bounty and it shall be written in stone that I, the SecretBuro finally finished the fabled thorn bounty. For the 500 void points I used the primed nox void fusion rifle and the corrective measure along with the bubble class for Titans. My fellow guardian your time will come when you feel the courage inside you burst out and you must finish this bounty. Show the darkness your light and make it cower in fear.

I disagree. My stats suck. It took me a decent amount of time to get it, but I did. Work at it. Learn. Adapt. Seek out better void weapons. Find a way. It can be done. I am proff thay shit players can earn it too

Using nothing but a fusion rifle and truth I finished the bounty last night in 5 games Disclamer: I did have Atheon epilogue equipped as well but let's be real here it sucks in pvp and I got maybe 10 kill with it

Thorn isn't too hard, it's just a challenge for an exotic. If anything the bounties for other exotics should be a little more difficult or creative.

Super easy dude, especially if you have a class with void (warlock voidwalker and Titan defender). Its not that hard. With regards to weapons. All you need is a blue weapon with void. Level advantages are disabled.

I have done two thorn bounties. Not hard. Just time consuming. Get the atheons epilouge out with corrective measure. Problem solved!
