Wife's and girlfriends
So I was just wondering,for those who are married or live with their girlfriend and what not,how often do they let u play destiny or any other type of game?. My misses hates me playing Xbox and I can only get away with maybe 2-3 nights a week. What about you guys?
Edit: just so everyone know I DO have a separate tv in the front room to play on.
Edit 2: loving the replies. And the excuses all the blokes are coming up with about how's its their manly right to play. Keep them coming.

My missus new my gaming addiction when she got with me. Been going 6 years strong now. [spoiler]i also bought her an iPad to use whilst I'm hogging the 50 inch tv that might be a factor [/spoiler]

2 RespuestasMy wife doesn't play but she enjoys watching me. She will generally hop on her Vita or 3DS and we will talk about what we are doing in each game. She found a forum post on here about someone's wife that made paper bounty forms as a chore list so she started doing that. I find it sweet that she took interest enough to do that. Every so often she will want to do one of the patrols in game, so I will walk her through getting mission beacons and public events.

My wife usually falls asleep one the sofa around 9pm. I get her into bed and get in 2-5 hours most nights since I don't need as much beauty sleep as she does.

The daughters go to sleep between 7:30 and 8:00. The lady falls asleep in the middle of our nightly Walking Dead episode around 8:30... After that, like Josh Homme would sing, [i]It's all... smooooooth sailing, from here on out!!![/i] ;)

My husband and I share gaming time. I play when he is at work and he plays when he is home. Ive never had a problem with how much he games because I game even more than he does!

I play for about 3-4 hours a day. 5 if I get lucky.

My wife games but hates destiny. I get up early in the morning to play and that includes weekends but anything else is cool at any time lol. She hates destiny for the lack of story and repetitiveness. She played destiny for 1 hour and made that proclamation.

Two words. Man cave. She watches her shows and plays on her phone. I kill things on an 8ft diagonal projector screen.

My girlfriend has no say over when or how long I play, she's not my boss, nor am I her boss. She still tries to set a "bed time" for me but thats the only annoying part. I'm not 6 years old, my bed time is when I'm tired. I have insomnia so I'd rather not lay in bed staring at the ceiling while she happily snoozes next to me..

I bought my wife her own PS4 with Destiny and Dragon Age. Now she encourages me to play. I call that a win.

We have an agreement. I play every night after she and my little girl goes to sleep. Only a couple of nights I stay awake til 3 am to do nightfalls and stuff.

I only get to play when my wife is not home, but she works most weekends so I generally get all day Saturday to play.

My wife does not like videogames in general, mostly because of how often I play them (she hates Destiny in particular for the same reason.) But she understands it's something important to me, my hobby, what I use to unwind, etc. And she usually doesn't complain. It was pretty bad the first few weeks after Destiny launched, I was staying up way too late almost every night for a few weeks, but now I just pick a couple nights a week to stay up late to get the Nightfall, Raids, etc. done without distractions. She likes playing some of the LEGO games with me.

Mutual agreement. My wife knows that Tuesday and Friday nights are Destiny nights. She finds her shows to watch on Hulu/Netflix in the living room, while I play with friends downstairs. Monday and Saturday nights are Date Night, and I work my second job on the other remaining nights.
