Wife's and girlfriends
So I was just wondering,for those who are married or live with their girlfriend and what not,how often do they let u play destiny or any other type of game?. My misses hates me playing Xbox and I can only get away with maybe 2-3 nights a week. What about you guys?
Edit: just so everyone know I DO have a separate tv in the front room to play on.
Edit 2: loving the replies. And the excuses all the blokes are coming up with about how's its their manly right to play. Keep them coming.

I've been married for four years now. We dated for 16 year before we married. I've always played games. My wife does not. However, it's never stopped her from buying me a game or standing in line with me at a midnight release. I get to play anywhere from 1-4 hors a da depending on how fast I can do my chores, what the little ones are doing, etc. andnons til find time to work full time (nights shift) and pay plenty of attention to my wife and kids, we do things and go places together constantly. If you wife won't "let" you play....I have a problem with that. Always been a big supporter of "if she tries to change you, she Dosent really love you for who you are. She trying to love you for what she wants you to be".

I've been married 3 years now..I like My wife because she's independent she doesn't need attention 24/7 and she sits beside me with her book while I veg out on destiny or battlefield for a few hours..we both call it our quiet time...Best Of luck man

My girlfriend doesn't seem to mind me playing games. It drives her nuts on occasion, pulling the psycho card and saying I never do shit (on her period, I work full time) so I just let her rage over nothing. It doesn't happen all the time (only on her period, such a lovely thing) most of the time she comes over and leans over my shoulder curious as to what I'm playing and comments on things like how I dress my characters. As soon as she sees me making a character or picking out items of clothing for a character she is immediately interested in making one of her own (crazy bitches and fashion, I have no effing clue) all to find out as soon as you can't choose the shoes they are wearing she loses interest. Hilarious. If she did care? I wouldn't be with her. It's my right as a man to play my games! (that one is for you op) Also, I'm a stubborn ass, so I wouldn't give two shots if she cared. Do you know how many times I've been twiddling my thumbs in the ladies department of a store waiting for her to meander through all the clothes and shoes? Countless. Suck it bitch, I'm playing my games.

However I wish I could find an easy way for her to hear the team chat while on ps4 Makes her feel left out and she like to hear the conversions.

3 RespuestasSince all women are crazy this might not work for you but this is how I get it in. 1. Bang your girlfriend at least once everyday. She wont feel slighted 2. Add another screen directly below the main screen .. so you can "share" and act like you are watching whatever shitty show she is into. 3. Randomly bang your girlfriend here and there in addition to #1. 4. Randomly complain that she isn't giving you enough blowies.. In a couple of days she will likely walk on over and suck you off while you Raid. 5. Make sure to mute your mic if # 4 happens or if #3 happens while you are playing (yes it can happen) 6. If you live with her tell her how beautiful she is at least twice a day. 7. Play after you put her to sleep with #1 Works for me lol

Good post! I like it. I play quite often, almost every day. In the weekdays 2-3 hours and in weekends double or triple that per day. If we don't have things planned that is. At first she had problem with me playing that much but we've had a chat about it and I explained how Xbox One is my runaway from reality to release anxiety and also, I love gaming basically, and when I've been away studying all day or working I just wanna kick back in the couch and relax with all the other guardians out there! In my experience, women don't want the pushover anyway. So she's welcome to leave, she's welcome to stay. (Cheating of any kind is obviously leaving, so that's the option) Rule 1 of negotiation. Be willing to walk out.

I play as much as I want. My girlfriend doesn't control my play time. "How much do they let you play?" Sorry but if they allocate your play time I would find someone else to be with.

I have to stay up later than her, once she is lights out, it's game time. Otherwise I grab 30 - 60 mins after work, 30 minutes when it's her turn to put our little one to bed.. basically anytime I can steal away to accomplish something. Now I just need to figure out a way tho steal enough time to do a proper raid.

I so wish my girl would play, but she's more of a watcher/talker, thinks she's helping kinda girl. I was in a raid other night and she was like screaming watch out, shoot that thingy over there, did that guy just tell you to kill yourself, I have to mute my MIC half the time. But she doesn't care how long or when I play.

I game a few hours daily. My wife and me started dating when I was 17 and got married wen I was 22. We have been together a long time and she knew I liked to game before hand. She likes a few games like fable and dragon age so the gaming has never been an issue. Now that we have a boy I don't play as much as I used to... But that's my own choice. I hope everyone finds em a good girl that doesn't mind games! It's pretty awesome!
