Thank You Bungie for the Gift
I have no idea what I got. I won't know until late tonight. But whatever it is, thank you. Now I know everyone was wanting a G-horn, Mythocast, Ice Breaker, or some other gun they are anally hurting over because they feel entitled because they did this, that, or the other. Thank you for not giving these out. Thank you for not caving in to the children. Thank you for allowing us to continue to pursue them. See I have none of those guns. And that's ok. Because when I get them I will feel a small measure of pride and excitement. Thank you for not taking that away.
Thank you for the changes you have made. Sure I may not like all of them but that's ok. As a human being I have the ability and maturity to stop playing when I decide I don't like it. I won't demand that you conform to my desires. I will simply trade it in and get something else. But the changes show you are trying. You can't please everyone. The whiners are the minority and you know that. I look forward to what you will do next for Destiny.
Edit: 987 comments and a ton of likes. Thank you for your positive, mostly, feedback. Regardless of what the gift was Bungie was the only developer out of any of my games to give away anything. No matter how you feel about them that does say something. Stay cool Bungie.
Edit: I am very happy to see this post as the #1 trending post. We need more positive posts leading the forums. I believe there are more happy Guardians than unhappy ones. Thank you all for your positive support.

1 RespuestaIt's nice, I'm thankful I got the Payback SOS - Auto Rifle, which is useful since I sharded all my non-raid 300 Legendaries, it's not a precise Auto rifle but it'll do for PVE, at least until the next DLC(march) would have been much happier with a ghost skin, since it seems so out of place a lvl.32 with a basic white ghost skin???

I got a pulse rifle with good sights and ok perks. Good enough to replace my old pulse rifle. Thanks bungie.

I am happy with my Pulse rifle, or was it a Scout Rifle, got a Cryptarch package at the same time and had one of each. Either way it is good to have a couple of Legendary weapons to work on while leveling up Exotics also.

Def happy with my scout rifle, I'll take more free gifts... In my opinion they didn't have to do that, regardless of how big or small it is its still a nice gesture

5 RespuestasJust opened the package and received [i]Another NITC[/i] with the perks rodeo and third eye on it. It doesn't have explosive rounds. Is it a good roll or should I just dismantle it?

1 RespuestaMy Son got " Another Nict" with Firefly, he was ecstatic about it! His first Legendary primary! I got "Devil You Don't", My first Hand cannon Legendary Primary. I have 2 Exotic Hand Cannon primaries, so this will free up my other 2 slots for exotic usage. Thanks for the new stuff! Happy , Happy, Happy!

I don't thank them for this gift we got. I haven't even opened it. I rather thank them for the hours I put in this game already. Now, i'm waiting for the hard raid.

1 RespuestaCool. I really love this game. I don't have any complaints. The hours I put in into this game has made this worth more than the Original disc and the DLC price. Looking forward to the other DLCs. Im sure whiners go straight to the Recycle Bin at the Bungie HQ, its like they don't understand that the "R" in RNG stands for RANDOM! LoL XD Keep up the great work and Thanks for everything.

Seeing the icon above his head is just as satisfying as seeing a blue or purple engram explode out the top of somethings head. Edit: I think it would have been better to not announce this is happening. It would have been a nice surprise getting a Legendary without knowing it's coming..

I will say thanks for the awesome idea of a free gift but mine didnt come with a gift receipt. Friends all got awesome primary and heavy weapons. I get another F'IN fusion riffle. Dont need, dont want, have enough energy. Can I return and pick something out. Maybe a legendary auto riffle. That would be the gift I really want for Christmas and new years. I will say love the game, a lot. It pisses me off sometimes. Seems everyone I play with gets awesome drops and i get ok ones. Weird kinda. Future suggestion: give us an option, like you do with Exotic Bounties, to pick something. Would have been awesome. Keep up the good work, thanks again for the gift, even though im a little ticked about what i got, thought that counts.

I kind of wish it could have been something more unique like a candy stripe sparrow or a ship with a blinking red light on the front called Rudolph 1. Or I don't know maybe a ghost shader. notice how none of these are that hard to make or will effect balance of power at all but at the same time reward players that are playing at this time as future players will not be able to obtain till next year.
