This gift that we waited for... LOLOL . Did anyone get something they want need or was looking for?
was some basic run-of-the-mill legendary pulse rifle? which quickly turned into my five hundred and fiftieth ascendant energy thank you very much guys. Way to be creative. I'm sorry ... I'm not one to look a gift horse in the dick, but that was a joke
If they created 10 new ghost skins, which I couldn't imagine taking much effort, and randomly gave those out to everybody instead, I think that would have been really neat.
Yes I'm aware that for newbies it's exciting . And I'm very happy for them and congratulations to everybody
I would have preferred a sparrow, new shader, new emblem, any type of upgradable material or currency, maybe some type of holiday or Christmas consumable of some sort. You get the picture?
I'm definitely not saying give us exotics, maybe an exotic shard
And yes I am very entitled. I don't cheese any part of any raids. I don't glitch, I don't cheat. I have over a thousand hours in this game. And I'm very active on the forums to boot . I am as entitled as anyone could be
(I really don't think I'm entitled, people keep saying they think that I think I am. But now people keep saying I'm not. Which one is it?)

Editado por pproblematix: 1/8/2015 5:56:08 PMMine was a crappy shotgun, but my friend got another NitC with firefly, a send it perk, and the "precision kills increase reload speed for a short time" perk, I like his better than my NitC by a mile. Edit: also if it were ghost skins or a sparrow, there still would be a million threads complaining that they wanted a weapon or armor. They couldn't make everyone happy so they made the majority happy, I'm ok with that decision.

3 RespuestasI liked my gift. I'm not a Christmas noob, but I have had to take time off for various things (so I'm like a Christmas noob who played for the first month). I got a legendary pulse rifle that will help me get back in to the game. For that I thank you, Bungie. I'm sorry most everyone hates their gift, but for what it's worth, I appreciate mine.

Because if your a grown man or woman who's been playing video games since the graphics were 8 bit then you know playing the game is it's best reward, nothing more is needed. In my honest opinion the Destiny community didn't deserve anything at all. This is a video game, you and other gamers need to remind yourselves of that fact.

Everyone acts like Bungie had to purchase all of these gifts and give them out. It didn't cost a damn thing and they should have just kept it a secret and just gave them out and everyone would have been surprised. Acting like it was going to be a cool gift that would be unique or "legendary" whatever was dumb.

I was hoping for a scout rifle with good perks, but got my second TDYD with shitty perks. I already have TFWPKY, so, two free energies that I need. I am thankful for that.

Based on the picture I thought it was going to be an engram. I was dreading the threads bitching about someone getting a legendary engram that turned into 2 shards/energies. At least this way we all get a random gun to look at and figure out if we want to keep it. I'm sure 80% of us will break it down but at least we get a guaranteed gun. It's not like they trolled us with 2 strange coins, a mote of light and 12 spinmetals.

6 RespuestasI'm amazed there are people out there who care about purely cosmetic stuff like shaders and sparrows. The only time I care about stuff like that is when Iron Banner is on and that's only because I want the reputation bonuses. Or that bounty Eris gives for killing Hive majors with her class item on. If it doesn't give me an in-game bonus its irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.
