how many people made the mistake I did?
So I bought destiny on the first weekend of the game, so I didn't have any strange coins and I didn't even see xûr so I missed out on red death. By the next weekend and courtesy of the loot cave [i]#tbt[/i] I had accumulated 20 strange coins and was ready to make my first purchase from Xûr. My noobish self thought, should I buy armor or gjallarhorn? I thought that because gjallarhorn was heavy exotic that it wouldn't be useful and I would want to reserve my exotic spot for a "superior" primary or secondary that I would use more regularly. So I made the biggest mistake [b][i][u]EVER[/u][/i][/b]. And I still regret it :(
Now I never pass on exotics. Even if they're not worth the coins
Note: the only exotics I'm missing now are pocket infinity, red death and necrochasm
Edit: really 1000 people? RNGesus needs to help some brothers out
Edit 2: YES FINALLY I GOT THE BEAUTY FROM THE DEATHSINGER IM SO HAPPY :D.

I got my Gjallarhorn from a legendary engram just when I needed it. Have faith in the Cryptarch, it was from one of his packages as well.

I got destiny a week later so I missed out the first two xur sales :(

I didn't get enough coins for icebreaker and passed on Gjallarhorn. I still haven't acquired those two

1 RespuestaI did the same damn thing. First time Xur rolled through I bought the Sunbreakers instead. SUNBREAKERS!!!!!!!! I thought it was a better idea to level up. Little did I know I would have about 50 more times to score Sunbreakers. SideNote: Tuesday night I was in the Tower and about log off as I had work in the morning. I got a party invite from a random. I joined to tell them I was about to go and thanks for the invite. What I found was a group of cool peeps that needed one for a quick VOG normal mode run. I told them I had very little raid experience, but they said they would show me the ropes. I went along. 30 mins. later I owned a spanking new Gally(300 Attack version). Upgraded it this weekend. Now looking for armor to buff up my my heavy ammo capacity. FINALLY!!!!

So sad. The worst is heard that words... "If you don't have it, you're a noob" (Tell it to my PVP/PVE rate) BUNGIE, ENOUGH And of course, too many people, Bungie never drop Suros/IB/Gjally again.

I missed gjallerhorn and ice breaker when xur sold them. But got luck and received the each the week after they were sold from the nightfall. I have gotten 3 of each to date. Less then 350 hours play across 3 different guardians 32,31,31

I missed out on the ghorn but i got ice breaker in the 2nd week from a legendary engram.

yeah I did that bought Sunbreakers because there was SO much emphasis on your light level and leveling up fast

Same deal for me saw that gally and told to myself nyee save my coins for a exotic helm and after that I was about to buy the icebreaker and instead I bought a helm for my titan biggest mistake ever ... Now I'm still bloody waiting to get one ... Fml

I skipped icebreaker thinking that a primary exotic would be way more useful.. bought suros a week or 2 after... i used it until the first upgrade and then vaulted it... Yea I suck
