Exotic for exotic, legendary for legendary, ascendant for ascendant, etc.
okay bungie?
You want us to grind.
FINE!
Go add a broker/vendor in tower that charges a glimmer commission fee depending on the quality of the item.
All traded weapons or armor progress will reset.
And trade vouchers will only drop rarely and randomly. (Praise RNG-sus!)
Only one item can be traded per voucher from both parties.
For those of you who don't know what a voucher is, it is a pass that allows you to redeem a transaction
Let me emphasize "rare" because a lot of people still don't understand this concept and insist that people will exploit this system.
It would be a waste of your time to invest in playing destiny for an opportunity to get a trading voucher let alone a gallarhorn if you ever get one, just to sell it.

Would it be fair if I have two gallahorns and want to give my friend one? I feel it is, Especially when the trade vouchers would drop as exclusively as an exotic bounty. To limit exploitation, add in a bunch of factors that would make trading a pain in the ass; that the only way you could do it is for BOTH parties to have a voucher, Have a ton of glimmer. Basically you could only trade once in a blue moon and the opportunity would only present itself to the most dedicated players.
As for the real world currency for a gallahorn. Any one who seriously plays the game long enough for a gallahorn to drop is not likely to want to get rid of it for actual money. Especially when trading vouchers themselves are as scarce as an exotic. Maybe more scarce.
Also, I have two gallarhorns and it is ridiculous that some people who play longer than i and still dont; And I can't just give it away to one of my friends for say his... hard light? With the amount of time I've invested into the game I would not throw away an opportunity ( to trade my Gjallarhorn for say another exotic I really want) for real world currency. Not a likely senario, I'm sure it could happen though. For an large amount of money.
But people aren't likely to pay a high value for a gallahorn with the chance that xur will have it the next week. Also there are millions of people playing this game that have gallarhorn. How high could the price even get?
Idk... let's hear some creative regulating to prevent real world trading.

I like the idea. People usually like a certain weapon type and random drops will likely never meet that expectation

I agree. Maybe the trade vouchers could drop as legendary loot like as a possible reward for completing a daily or weekly? They should add some restrictions to limit exploits. Possibly no trading raid armor. With the raid armor drops being higher in the crota raid we easily get multiples of the same raid piece. Make it to where you can't trade raid armor so making the jump to 32 won't be cut short.

I do agree with the 'equal trading system' idea. I disagree with your implementation. Trading Vouchers that are just as rare as the exotics we'd most likely be trading for? It's just another drop to lower the odds of getting the exotics in the first place. A series of mini quests to unlock the voucher in exotic bounty fashion? Just another bounty to take up bounty slots in our inventory. Would we have to pick this bounty up or is it going to drop the same way as an exotic bounty does? If it's the former, could go weeks without it appearing. If it's the latter, that means choosing between an exotic weapon or an opportunity to trade for an exotic weapon. If a trading system was to be implemented then the only fair way to do it would be a 30 minute grace period at the end of each mission, where your rewards are trade able with the fire team you completed it with. That way, if one of your team mates gets his 4th Icebreaker from Aksor, Archon Priest, you can trade it for the Legendary Helmet Engram you got from the sane strike.

I think it should be there 100%

Editado por leo: 1/4/2015 10:32:33 AMThey should make it so you can't trade legendary or exotics to people lower than 20 and if you trade a upgraded exotic to someone say your level 31 friend for example then the upgrades reset.
