Deej, this is the worst thing about Nightfall
Getting Ascendant materials/coins!!!!
Seriously, this is the worst. If I do this I want a legendary or exotic. Even if it's one I don't need or want. I've gotten coins/ascendants for 3 weeks and this needs to stop.
If you agree post on here and show them and maybe we can get deej to let the developers know!
I'd also like to add that my 7 ascendant energies didn't even go to my inventory, yet I got my radiant light buff. They weren't at the postman either.

Anyway I'm sure Deej can see this (even if he doesn't reply) so keep expressing your opinions and maybe he'll pass this on to the big guys at the company!
TL,DR: Most think coins should be removed or higher number than rewarded by the weekly and alot believe ascendants should be removed as well. [b][/b][/b]

Last week I got 5 strange coins. On one character and 7 energies on the other This week so far I got 7 shards. First week of the expansion I got dragons breath. I think they're doing this because they only gave us 2 new exotics with the expansion (Xbox)

1 RespuestaEven most legendary drops, barring good perk rolls, which are more rare than an exotic, just turn to scrap. I'd almost rather have 5 coins than a worthless legendary. Anyway, it's all a gamble and on top of the real reason we have Nightfall...bonus XP all week. I know this doesn't seem very glamorous but it helps to keep that in mind. Any reward one might recieve for it is purely a prize and it's defo a gamble. Just try and have fun with it and keep it in perspective.

1 Respuestaya so i did it for the third time with two friends last night, two of us were 30 and we were carrying our level 27 friend through it... he got about 50 kills. at the end the other 30 and I got 5 strange coins and the 27 got 9.... for one i want more than -blam!-in strange coins and two its bullshit we only got 5!

Coins in my option are fine, but the Ascendant materials shouldn't drop since they are almost useless. I do think though that you should get anywhere between 10-15 coins instead of 7-9 like I have seen. Radiant Materials would be fine for a drop though.

I love coins. I used to just get coins. I'd take coins over legendary weapons any day. The only legendaries I really want are raid legendaries.

The whole point of the nightfall isn't the drops it's the exp buff. The drops are just a bonus . Sure I hate getting my 5 coins when I do, but leveling up new gear, faction/vanguard rep etc is the reason I even do the nightfall .

Why are you complaining you didn't get them? You said you don't want them. Remember: Bungie is always listening and they aim to please.

I can understand if you get more coins then the weekly, I can also understand getting 10+ energy or shards. What is frustrating is when I got a legendary engram and it turns into 2 energy. So pretty much the daily is better? Or my second run where I got 5 coins. Really? Ok sure, The Last Word, which will just collect dust in my vault. The only benefit to this nightfall was the 5k+ glimmer you can get from each run.

What's even worse is coins that you get less than from Weekly, which is arguably easier. AND you get some engrams from Weekly, which have a chance to be legendary. That is absurd, baseline coins you CAN get from Nightfall should be 10 and up... Ascendants are bullshit too, I don't need them, why do I still get them?

Nightfall and weekly last night, got nothing but strange coins and a shit ton of them. Has been that way for two weeks. Then turned in some blue engrams and what do ha know, ended up with about 7 more

Smh everything i get from nightfall makes me happy since It's a bonus. I think handing out stuff like op demands would make a lot of US burn out on the game so quickly

Yep. Between my two runs I got 19 ascendent shards. Kind of takes the gas out of my tank for end game activities.
