Deej, this is the worst thing about Nightfall
Getting Ascendant materials/coins!!!!
Seriously, this is the worst. If I do this I want a legendary or exotic. Even if it's one I don't need or want. I've gotten coins/ascendants for 3 weeks and this needs to stop.
If you agree post on here and show them and maybe we can get deej to let the developers know!
I'd also like to add that my 7 ascendant energies didn't even go to my inventory, yet I got my radiant light buff. They weren't at the postman either.

Anyway I'm sure Deej can see this (even if he doesn't reply) so keep expressing your opinions and maybe he'll pass this on to the big guys at the company!
TL,DR: Most think coins should be removed or higher number than rewarded by the weekly and alot believe ascendants should be removed as well. [b][/b][/b]

It's not fun watching your friends get Gjallarhorn, icebreaker, Surous.. Etc.. While you get crap. I hate to rant because it's been done so many times but there's no way the RNG is actually random. Take the Nightfalls last week for example. Both the guys in my Fireteam died. I fought alone for a while but couldn't get to them so they had to quit and come back in. Doing so erased their stats (number of kills, deaths.. Etc). Guess who got awesome drops? They did. I got energies and had to watch them get Gjallarhorn and dragons breath. The nightfall I ran right after that the same thing happened. I got some junk legendary shotgun and the other two got surous and icebreaker respectively. I've tired to work as hard as I can in this game, helping everyone I can... And I'm glad some of my buddies got these items.. But it's very upsetting. I've wanted an icebreaker, Gjallarhorn and surous since I began playing this game. Every week the game craps on me an gives everyone else the goods. I almost took my disc out and snapped it.. Forever to leave Destiny behind. It's just disheartening. I apologize for the lengthy rant.. But I had to get that out. Surely I'm not the only one plagued with RNGs curse..

keep the mats i neeed them but the coins should be more agreed

Agreed %100. -blam!- ascendant mats as drops as a whole. They shouldn't come from any engrams and they shouldn't come from the NF neither should coins. I'd take a reduced drop rate if it meant that the things that dropped were less useless. After all, if I need the mats I'll break down whatever the thing was in the first place. Chances are it's not better than my raid gear.

whats dumb is im always the one who who gets the legendary while my other two friends get exotics and then I end up getting a legendary item that sucks and is useless

Shards need to be removed from the nightfall rewards, and any engram aside from the class engram. Im so sick of getting the shaft from this reward system

Yeah, they did up the difficulty on them (for solo players at least), but the rewards are still shit. I don't remember the last Nightfall that I got a reward from that excited me. Always materials, coins, or really terrible legendary weapons (I'm not sure how its possible to not roll Field Scout on like 20 weapons in a row). Ascendants should definitely be removed. If you want those then give the 'ol VoG a spin, you can get plenty there. Coins are an ok reward but it should never be lower than 9, and should probably drop less often (I get them probably 30% of the time). The things that should be dropping the most often are Legendary weapons with Exotics sprinkled in every once in a while. I am having an unbelievably hard time finding a good new Legendary Primary or Special weapon, considering all the vendor ones are terrible (with the possible exception of For the People from the Crucible vendor) and my luck with drops has been bad.

Last week I got 19 strange coins 5 for my hunter 5 for my warlock and 9 for my Titan 19 rare strange coins -blam!- RNG

I do the Nightfall for the experience boost, anything else is just a bonus. I play the game just because I enjoy it though so I guess that helps.

5 RespuestasIf coins are going to be a reward, you should get 10-15. Ascendant mats should give at least a dozen, though I think I'd rather not see them as a nightfall reward.

Enough strange coins to buy an item from xur would be acceptable maybe but never less than heroic. Personally I only do nightfalls now for the rep buff but I hate seeing other people get shit on.

3 RespuestasExotic weapons should stay 'exotic' as in rare, different and hard to get! If I was guaranteed to drop an exotic from NF and did it three times a week using all my characters I'd be up to my neck in them, especially after Xur visits. The only thing I'd change is the amount of coins you drop as getting less than the weekly is harsh but then again you know what you're signing up for with the weekly where as the Nightfall rewards are random, so quit belly aching :)
