There is 3 options for characters and you can pick from and 3 slots, I had 1 of each and disliked the hunter and made a second warlock which is pretty much the same thing your complaining about (also have a Titan). People play like they want and have reasons for doing that, it shouldn't bother anyone else in the slightest cause it doesn't affect you. - As for nightfalls, heroic, etc. that has nothing to do with 3 of the same class only 3 characters so point is invalid. Either way they have to put in work for each character (lvl to 20, bounties, subclasses, etc.) so making extra characters requires more time as well. - The cheesing part is also how people want to play and doesn't effect me in the slightest so I don't care. - Hope you can open your mind and stop worrying about how people play a game. Just have fun!

Are you on drugs or were you just dropped as a child. Having three of the same characters is not cheating if it was bungie would have made each slot for each race. Creating several of the same races ensures that if you get duplicate items you can give it to your next lowest characters rank thus improving that rank and bringing them up anything that's not for that race get recycled into whatever materials to improve your character like ascendant shards. Also maybe people want a character for only PVP maybe another character for PVE and another in the middle to use to grind for stuff for other characters. Its is not cheating meg its is a faster way for some to improve upon another character. O maybe they just want three of the same so they can play dress up and have 3 character they think look cool or sexy. Now shut up meg

I've ran my main class since the beginning. I've made one of the other classes and didn't like it so I deleted it. Then made a second of my first class. I've not played on my second much but if I can use it and a third to farm more strange coins and have better chances at raid gear, why not take advantage of it? Why worry with how other people take advantage if you won't?

it's not cheating, but it is pretty cheesy. i do it. this is the game they designed, i'm going to play it to my advantage. plus, you pretty much have to if you want to keep up with everyone else. i would love to have one of each character, but when you can play 3 guys and gear up one set that they all use, it's more efficient. stupid, but efficient. i would like to see them take that away and make gear soulbound, so you can't toss armor back and forth. weapons are fine, shards and mats are fine, but armor should be for that character only. however, if they implement a soulbinding armor system, they also should make it a little quicker and easier to get the light cap. forcing us to play through one raid 3 times a week for one set of gear that still takes a while to farm is a bit ridiculous. they should be dropping like 5-6 shards per checkpoint for us, rather than like 2.

This thread is ridiculous. The fact is we all did pay for it and if we have the option than we can do what ever we like within the lines of possibility within the game. Personally I don't enjoy playing ass the other two classes. Nothing against them, in fact they are arguably better than my favored class, but I just don't get that personal satisfaction when playing them as I do when I play my class. So why would I bother with the other classes?? If you have fun dividing your play style between three classes that is alright. I choose to sacrifice other classes for triple gain and progress over one character and that's how I like to play. In short I am sorry I am not sorry that this bothers you, haha
