Would you leave if people wanted to cheese Crota?
Just curious if others feel the same way about this. I had already done Crota three times legit early Tuesday morning but a friend had some guys he knew who needed a few extras. So me and another friend joined them not knowing beforehand of course, spent the time running through all the raid legit only to get to Crota and hear them say "ok I'll be the one to unplug and rejoin" so me and the other guy ask if they'd at least attempt it legit and said "no we just want to cheese him". So our response was "well we're not needed then since we've already got drops legit this week and we're just helping but not down to cheese him."
So one guys reply was "your letting pride get in the way I beat him legit first week and I've got nothing to prove anymore."
My opinion is, these are the guys who when the hard raid comes out won't be able to find a group to run with them because they're too busy cheesing Crota and don't know the fight mechanics that well.
Anyone else think we did the right thing being as though we had already done it legit 3 times and were trying to help out spending our time we could've been doing something else only to realize it was pretty much a waste of time?

I don't think you can finish it w/o letting them have their way. I spent 6 hours on Monday night trying to find a legit group. Unsuccessful!

Sadly no. I'd much rather do it legit but nearly everyone is cheesing and I don't have the time to leave and go find a group to fight him the right way. I really hope they patch it soon so I can experience the real fight. For now though, I'm gonna be spanking his glitched ass till I find a group that doesn't consist of pussies.

Left before will do again. I don't care if seemingly EVERY player on the 360 is scrubly enough to require an easy-way out in my mind if you're not willing/capable of investing in Endgame you should not see Endgame rewards in the same fashion you can't clock out of work two hours early every-day and expect full pay.

No because I'm probably running it with randoms and they would have wiped several times.

I refuse to cheese Crota, it's so easy anyways. I was in a group where they fought to cheese him, but since I was host with my buddy they shut up and we beat it legit in 2 tries.

In the Atheon fight it didn't bother me so much when people wanted to cheese just because of all the glitches. If you can't get your damn game to work right I have no problem pushing your boss off an edge. With Crota I've had maybe 3 or 4 swords fall through the ground and no other major glitches. If my team does its job we're not going to wipe because of a glitch. There's really no reason to cheese him. It's a 6-7 minute fight. Just do it right. Personally, I would have left. No reason to take part.

Cheese crota!? People actually have to cheese this guy? Wow he is soooooo easy to beat man. If you can't beat him legit in less then 5 mins you really need to trade this game in lol. P.s. Not referring to you OP just cheesers in general.

Yep. Probably happend about 10 times in the last two days. "You guys doing it legit or cheesing?" "We're cheering the bridge and Crota""goodluck to you -blam!- boys I'm out" took him down with the next group in an hour total.

I would definitely leave, Crota is so easy, if you have to cheese him, it's just because you are bad.

I just tell them straight out we are doing this legit no cheesing. I am the sword bearer so I know it's very easy to kill crota so long as our team has decent weapons to take down his shield

5 Respuestas"Cheesing is for Noobs" Is all I ever read when it comes to posts like this. Personally I've beaten the entire raid legit multiple times. If a easier way to beat it comes up then why not do it. People beat it for the materials and gear you get. No one wants to sit here for upwards of 3 hours (depending on your group) fighting a boss. Its not cheating, its the current mechanics in the game, cheating would be someone hacking and making themselves invincible or one shotting enemies. Its a simple bug that people are taking advantage of. Its Bungies fault for not testing bugs. We are the testers. Nothing wrong with it until its fixed.

I don't care either way, I beat it for the first time the other day, and while I do want to beat him legit a few more times to get a better feel, after that I'll just go with whatever the group feels like doing. It's a just a game in the end, nothing really matters.

I haven't had the opportunity to play Crota's End. I don't have a lot of friends on X360 Live and haven't found someone to tag along. I would do the same as You if I had already done the raid as intended. If someone just needed extras and a consensus on cheesing was reach I would help if I were needed only if those tactics didn't take more time than the legit tactic. In the past I have played along people who speedruns everything and when they reach a milestone on the mission they die and the other members of the fireteam have to struggle to reach to that point and revive them. Ir even worst, I dtill remember a guy who speedruned the Arcon Priest Nightfall and when we reached the boss He told us that he had a good tactic, as we had just finished legit and just were helping him, we followed. Then He went to below thw platform just to die and took almost the same time to finish as if we took the legit way.
