The Cheese on Crota
Every raid party I encounter wants to cheese crota... like bungie isn't gonna patch this next week... when this happens how many people are gonna know how to beat him legit? You can't become legend by taking the easy way out every time. Not that the cheese doesn't have a 5 percent chance of working anyway. We could have beat him 10 times in the amount of times we spent trying to get a rare glitch to happen.

I beat him last Friday but all we did was stay in the hallway and then after the sword bearer came close we would take the sword we fire ghorns at Crotas shield and then the sword guy would go and attack him. It took us like 4 waves of sword bearers. Is this cheesing him? I thought we were doing it legit.

They can't patch it. Its hardware not software.

Everyone is so used to pushing him off, that they have little to no experience in killing him legitimately. It amazes me how many people struggle on this boss (especially on hard) because they have never learned to do it the proper way.

The first time i played the raid they wanted to cheese so i happily went alo.g with it to get easy gear. then i played again and realised how easy the legit way is. No more cheesing it for me, because there is no need really.

The cheese involves the same setup as legit, you kill a side, go to middle or stairs depending on how you wanna do it, you still kill the knights and still get the sword and chalice difference is you have a maximum of 2 swords... Nobody will struggle to adapt

Yeah, it will be patched. But I'm pretty sure it won't be till after the holidays. I thought Bungies office was cleared out till than. Either way, Corta is not hard by any means. Get the timing down with your team and he's a damn breeze.

5 RespuestasThis will definitely be patched. The whole reason why hard mode isnt release yet is exactly this. Bungie wants to release the normal mode, see how it goes, and if any cheese "tactic" is found, they can patch it so it wont be abused in hard mode. They learned this the hard way when hundreds of people were cheesing Atheon on hard mode in the VoG.

4 RespuestasThe glitch ia 100% if you're talking about the disconnection one. I beat him legit also with the glitch. I'm not a fan of using glitch to win, but I'm also not a fan of losing to bugs in the game and both raids are very buggy. Tl dr if i can lose to a bug/glitch why cant I win using one?

I'm glad my team and I can beat him legit that's all that matters. Other players can have gear and all but skill is better than gear

If you beat him quite a few times legit learning all positions. Then it may be acceptable in groups that are strapped for time but not as a all the time thing.
