Has anyone else lost interest in Destiny since the expansion? I can't be the only one who feels like this, especially after all the time we've all put in. I absolutely love playing Destiny. I truly do. I'm not into many games at all, but I'm incredibly competitive. Regardless of what game I play, I like to put in the effort to be the best. So when it came to Destiny, I just had to be level 30. I enjoyed leveling up three different characters to 30. I enjoyed playing all three classes to their full potential.
Now with Destiny though, I've just lost all interest after the DLC has launched. With all these idiotic changes that they've made to the new gear, re-leveling exotics, radiant materials, commendations, etc, I've just lost all interest in what little enjoyment I still had left. Everyone is getting screwed left and right and I just don't see the point in the grind anymore.
I actually deleted my 30 Hunter to make a second Warlock because I knew there was no way in hell that I was going to re level more gear for a different class after the ludicrous ideas that Destiny are calling "patches". Why would I anyway? All I have to do is wait for the House of Wolves and then I can make a new class right up to where I left off (Hint: I can already do that).
I can't be the only one who sees the insanity that Destiny is consistently producing. I'm not here to complain. Again, I love playing Destiny, I just won't be playing as much as I have when my progress will consistently be undermined without warning. Please tell me more of you out there feel like I do.
By the way, the new Raid shotgun is an EXACT replica of the new Vanguard shotgun. I can't remember the name at the moment, but it has the EXACT same stats, lol.
Why is my reward for beating the new raid just a regular shotgun that I can buy from the Vanguard armory?
Edit 1. Thank you for all your responses. I love reading how everyone feels about this game, regardless of it being positive or negative. Seems like I'm not the only one!
Edit 2. I honestly can't believe this took off as much as it did. I wrote this late at night and I completely forgot I wrote it until I stumbled upon it in the morning. I'm so glad so many of you agree. These are your dedicated fans, Bungie. They're speaking up. Please take note of what we're trying to achieve with this feedback.

Editado por OggimusPrime: 12/18/2014 12:55:27 AMyes.. and let me tell you why: The raid is too short. The armor is too easy to obtain. The mats are much harder to obtain than the gear, which is ass backwards from VOG. VOG was fun with tons to explore. I was a fully VOG raid gear 30 and now people are asking for 31's for CE, yet i'm sure the majority of the 31's are vendor gear 31's. The new exotic armor sucks. I'm tired of grinding for my upgrades ( I know this is a theme in these types of games). The warlock raid gear looks terrible. The vanguard warlock gear looks even worse. The nightfall rewards don't reflect the challenge. The weekly rewards on lvl 30, are terrible. The addition of new materials was a terrible idea. Lets add more materials for upgrades but not give more vault space. The perks on the raid gear are hyper specific to the raid, more so then VOG gear. Why do no raid weapons drop? I have yet to see any drop for anyone.. outside of an exotic drop from a chest. Did bungie give up on the new exotic gear and armor? An extra grenade on starfire protocol?!?!? That is already a perk in the warlock tree. Why am I running the same five missions over and over again? Why can people solo 4/5 of the new raid? Why is there a glimmer cap? Why is glimmer shared between characters but the vendor rep and marks are not? Bungie just seems lazy these days.

I share this view as well. I really liked the game before dlc hit, and thought that it would get better with more content, now that most of the grind was done. They made it easier to upgrade exotics with the exotic shard, made me happy. Then force us to trade them in and reset progression. Everything that I worked for in the game was essentially lost when dlc hit. Figuratively with the new level cap. Back to the level 20 grind, gotta get all new armor, and get all new exotics[traded exotics=New], and level them up... Again! I can't really play what I want, because I need to spend my time running the same mundane patrols and bounties that I have run countless times. The game got old, really fast. If the time and material that we put in before dlc could be rewarded, it wouldn't be as much of an issue. I thought that I was done with the 10+ hours a week of farming and patrols, but after dlc, it's back, and all on the moon!

14 RespuestasThe fake 30's man. It used to be special to be a 30. Something to be proud of. Now it doesn't mean 2 shits

Nope. I'm an arty guy, so I tend to run around the environments and geek out about the intricate details added. Footprints, different weather, day/night cycles, water physics, rock formations... Uh, anyway; It hasn't really been a race to get everything done, so I haven't burnt myself out on the content. Enjoying the heck out of this game and can easily see myself investing more time in further content to come. :)

Not one bit

EXACTLY, reading that was like reading my own thoughts, It seems like more of a pointless chore to play it now rather than enjoy it, I loved the game and got my 3 30s and was happy with that but now i don't see the point in doing it again. Really hope they reshuffle their ideas!

It's annoying because they could of made a really great game. I hope Destiny 2 is a HUGE mmo open world with loads to do.I would even pay $2/£1 a month. I mean 3+ million people paying that much a month should be enough to make a truly amazing game.

I have lost interest in attempting to get the Husk of the pit to drop - i feel the method used to distribute this weapon was poorly designed...the only thing this is going to succeed in doing is pissing everybody playing this game off...if that's Bungie's goal, it will be accomplished. Guess the part that bothers me is this was not the first "loot based" game, i have not played the others mentioned through-out the forums but based on what everyone says, they are far superior to destiny, that being said, Bungie should have taken a play from the playbook on this specific game feature. my next concern is for the casual gamer (which i was when i started this long journey) i do not feel like you can be a casual gamer and succeed in getting much enjoyment out of this game, there is a reason everyone refers to it as a grind...there should be a way for casual gamers to not have to run the gauntlet if they don't want to...i guess my example of this would be the old mortal Kombat, where you could enter training mode, you could just do what you wanted, granted you received no points in that mode, but it allowed you the full experience of the game. just my 2c

I'm gettin there :-(

1 RespuestaI am starting to think of it as a gift. By breaking the game ( as far as I am concerned) over the last few updates, I have found don't care much, don't feel the need to turn in on and just cant be arsed working for anything.. Deleted two more exotic bounties cause really who gives a crap. Monday played a bit Tuesday hardly today not yet, maybe not at all. I got a couple of new games to try over crimbo and might just find that somewhere between right now and jan 1st I stop playing altogether.

Editado por str8_kilinf00ls: 12/17/2014 9:21:30 PMThey need armor to look like this. I feel they got lazy with the design. http://redditpics.fpapps.com/?thingid=t3_2pkrlb&url=http://i.imgur.com/vubsNeL.jpg Now this is something worth playing for

1 RespuestaThe only thing I am less inclined to do is the new raid, actually. The weapons aren't very good with the exception of black hammer, the gear is complete crap compared to some of the great stuff that dropped in VoG (my Warlock chest piece, for example), so outside of the fact that you can reach level 32 with it, I'm not inclined to spend much time raiding in CE.
-
Nope, wouldn't say I'm losing interest in Destiny. I think it bugs me less because I view destiny as a diablo/borderlands type of game rather than an mmo. I am very much a loot whore and have no qualms whatsoever about grinding for hours and hours getting the item I want (I probably dropped a good thousand hours into both D3 and BL2). In those two games, when the caps went up we were forced to refarm all our gear, so when that was announced for destiny I wasn't surprised/disappointed at all. That said, I have been focusing on becoming more and more efficient with my game time, if for no other reason than to appease my gf so she doesn't burn my ps4.

This guys is apparently friends with one of the Devs. He doen't name who. He brought up all this crap about destiny and this is the opinions from the Dev's http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/85306634/0/0/1 Worth a read at least

2 RespuestasNot losing interest, losing hope. Losing hope that I will get one of the game breaking, raid changing weapons like the ghorn or ice breaker. I put in 3-4x the time of half my friends that have one. It's not in the cards. My bud with the ghorn... the two of us end the level 30 missions in minutes with that thing without breaking a sweat. I do it with two others with other max weapons it's 10-15 minutes of craziness.
-
Why have they messed it up so much so many times now? I have no hope that they will take anything on board anymore because they say they have, then release some more crap that messes things up even more. I have only just started being able to play crucible without getting kicked every single match so I'll be playing this for a while longer, but I cant stand strikes or any other PVE stuff anymore. Its too boring now.

2 RespuestasAgreed. I really enjoyed the game myself for a while despite the glaring problems. After the DLC dropped, I went online to play my regular strikes only to find myself blocked from previously paid for content. Their solution? rotate the strikes between vanilla and dlc and screw both groups of players. My friend whom I used to play destiny with regularly, offered to gift me the dlc. No way would I allow even someone else to burn money on my behalf. So in closing, I'm so fed up with the way this has gone that for the first time ever I am calling PSN support to try and get a refund or maybe some in store cash. I'll probably get the shaft but maybe they'll start leaning on bungie if they feel they're going to lose money.

1 RespuestaNo, I'm losing my interest in posts like this

Your not the only one at all bud. I love the vision they had for this game, I hate the execution.

I've been PvPing on Dark Souls 2 mostly to pass time, I still love this game and will come back but a break is nice.

Editado por Lead: 12/17/2014 4:49:33 PMThere is 2 worlds in destiny : http://giphy.com/gifs/elevator-sisyphus-blake-noel-VfqqcORnSh7Mc - those who grind day 1 , work their ass to the highest level and spend literally days playing.. - those who will be playing during 1 or 2 week after major release (DLCs) get to max level too in literally 3 hours , clear the new content and move on till next DLCs (if they hear of it) both will play the same games, same content, defeat same bosses. one group had time to play all other games released since september (AC, DA etc..), the other didn't. which one do you want be part of ?
