Here is the best way to beat crota lets -blam!- this guy up

The sword holder was a level 31 bladedancer hunter with the stalker, shadowjack and higher jump perks. This is the only requirement apart from the rest of the team being level 30+.
Once we kill the first mobs near the crystal the bladedancer went down to grab the chalice of light whilst one stayed on the top left with an icebreaker to take out the knights that spawn at the top of the two towers on either side of Crota. The other four went down to the middle as you can see me POV in the video.
Once the sword bearer spawned the four at the bottom took him out and the bladedancer took the sword. The bladedancer then went to the left side of Crota were there is a rock you can jump on to reach Crota. In the corner of the rock is a crack he crouched in to get invisibility. Once invisible the bladedancer jumped up to Crota and instructed us to take his shields down. Two gjallahorn rounds and a few bullets takes this down easily.
Once down the bladedancer is already right next to him and he used the strong attack (R2 / RT) THREE TIMES. He then immediately jumped back to the bottom middle to regroup with the four others.
When Crota runs to wither side, all players including the knight killer regroups at bottom mid. The sword bearer will then spawn, so wait for Crota to run back to middle and then kill him. Have the knight killer return to his position and repeat previous steps to damage Crota.
As you can see in the video I occasionaly jumped up to see the door beneath Crota as this is where the sword bearer spawns. If it doesn't open then two ogres will come. If this happens everyone go to bottom middle and use snipers to kill the ogres. Once done have knight killer return to his position. Eventually another sword bearer will come.

2 RespuestasOr you could just kill him with kindness :D

1 RespuestaOgres come everytime after 2 swordbarers are killed.

We did it differently. Someone takes out the tower boomers and everyone else generates orbs and kills the sword carrier, then i just super the -blam!- out of him. 4 sword runs and hes dead. Ogres spawn after the second sword run.

Nice vid

Why are you taking credit for someone else's video
-
Solid tactic. Will be doing this when I finish work.

dude i beat him as a lvl 31 titan w/ the lowest agility possible, the sword pretty much carries its own weight its just the jump that matters.

1 RespuestaSaw this strategy posted earlier with a link to a video. I'm not sure if your the same group or your just taking credit for this strategy but after watching the vid and trying this out it was so easy. TOO easy lol Looks like hunters finally have a use haha Think we wiped a few times whilst everyone learnt what to do but once we got going it only took 4-5 sword runs.

Editado por BeKindToMeBae: 12/11/2014 4:22:54 AMThe way we did it we all spent most of the fight under the crystal, when the sword bearer came we killed him on the steps and then a Titan took the sword and sprinted and jumped straight up to Crota, we switched immediately to Crota after killing the swordbearer and the timing worked well. After that the Titan ran to the side, where another Titan in a bubble was waiting for him. We then took down his shield a second time and bashed him with the combo (RB-RB-RT) again... I don't know the damage difference between combo and 3 big strikes, would be interesting to find out, nice post :)
