Raid Gear Devaluation
Raid gear should not be obsolete with every new expansion. At least the raid gear which people grind so hard to gain should be upgradable to keep up with new expansions. I mean the Dark Below gear looks pretty awesome, why make such valuable items undesirable with new expansions?
Raid gear should not become obsolete, should be upgradable. Why? Because it's supposed remain unique and worth the time and effort.
Agree? Disagree?

Kept vanguard at 27 light Vog gear moved to 33 light Exotic and crota gear 36 light You start with vanguard gear to get to vog. And from there after getting at least 3 raid pieces and move on to crota raid. Now people just skip right to crota.

1 RespuestaThey should add a quest line to upgrade it. Something that makes doing the VoG worth while or a new item from both raids to upgrade them. Why make old content useless...

VoG gear should be equal to the new standard armor, as well as the Iron Banner Gear. What reason is there to have the top level gear, if after each DLC if it doesn't even help get you to the new base?

This is the way of RPG's. Would you rather reminisce about one accomplishment or many? Progressive games are not meant to be one and done. I'm mearly explaining how historically most rpg games work.

1 RespuestaYes, I even hate it more how easy to get faction armor (level 31) is stronger than hard to get Vault of Glass armor (level 30). Old raid armor or in this case VoG armor should at least have the same light level as faction armor in the tower.

8 RespuestasNow hold on has anyone got an armor drop sense the update? It's possible the raid drops were buffed also. still get screwed on what we already own but better than a useless raid.

I agree but disagree as well, i think since VoG is a tier 1 raid, the weapons should still be effective, in the tier 2 raid crotas end, however i dont think tier one(vog) should be effective in tier 3+ Raids. Its progrssion.

2 RespuestasYes, vog gear is completely useless the armor and weapons now suck. You can buy better weapons and armor. The vog weapons should be on par with new tower weapons as they were with the old tower weapons. Old tower weapons should be upgradable, and vog armor should be on par if not better than tower armor.
