Crota's End Tutorial *ALL PARTS* *WITH CHESTS!*
[b][u]STEPS TO THE RAID![/u][/b]
Form the bridge, go across and fall into the starting hole!
[b]STAGE 1[/b]
Chest:
[spoiler] After you enter the abyss, walk down the hall towards the first lamp. Before that, turn left down a dark corridor with a small white/orange light above a doorway. The door will open when you go near it if the chest is in there. My friend got the new exotic sniper.
EDIT: it's a random spawn in the doors.
EDIT 2: This chest seems to be similar to upper gorgon chest. It contains class items, upgrade materials, and a chance at exotics. Comment if this is wrong or other things come from this chest

You will be in a dark tunnel surrounded by thralls and cursed thralls.
Weight of darkness will stack up to 10 and you can't run.
Move as a tight group from pillar of light to pillar of light.
Avoid the holes in the ground!
Stay at each pillar till around x6 so you can sprint again but not long enough for it to turn red and explode!
Once you get to the end section there will be a circle on the ground that forms a bridge.
Defend the bridge from 2 ogres and knights.
When the bridge forms run across and there will be an ogre on the other side.
Run past or kill him and continue down the hallway.
[b]STAGE 2[/b]
At the start there will be a similar circle and 2 temples.
atleast 1 person needs to stand on each temple and one to form the bridge.
A SwordBearer will spawn and drop a sword.
1 Person use the sword and cross the bridge.
YOU MUST KILL THE GATEKEEPER! if it kills you, its a good idea to wipe.
Repeat that process till 3 people are over to the other side!
Then, on the other side 1 person must stand on each temple and 1 on the circle to hold the bridge up.
The people stuck at the beginning can leave the temples and kill a swordbarer and cross the bridge one by one.
Each person that comes over has their own gatekeeper that they MUST kill.
Once everyone is over, clear out the enemies and progress.
Chest:
[spoiler] The chest is located after the bridge encounter with the gatekeepers, right after the gauntlet with the shriekers and before the drop to the summoning crystal.
There is a door on the opposite side of the hole where you drop down. You have to be fast in order to make it in before the door closes, but once you're in you can open it from the inside. I used Bladedancer and Vex Mythoclast with Lightweight and ran up to each of the invisible walls while my teammates killed the adds and Shriekers, double-jumped over the hole and slid into the door just as it was closing.

Just move down the hallway killing the shriekers and setting up titan bubbles to defend against the bombs that come out afterwards)

(This stage requires trial and error)
There will be two witches on opposite sides in the room above you where you come in.
You can draw them out and kill them as a team.
After the witches are dead there will be shriekers that you cannot damage until the witches are dead.
Kill the shriekers and then proceed to the main Witch.
YOU MUST KILL THE WITCH BEFORE The Liturgy ends!
[b]STAGE 4[/b]
Start the stage by activating the crystal.
Send one person out to grab the Chalice.
As a team go back to the underground doorway and defend the entrance.
Focus fire on the SwordBearer until the sword drops.
Send one person out to grab the sword and head towards Crota.
As he is heading to crota, the team needs to do enough damage to him to take down his shield and bring him to his knee!
The sword guy can get 2-3 swings on him while he is down if timed right. Run back to the underground passage.
Rinse and repeat.
IF THE CHALICE IS DROPPED OGRES WILL SPAWN. LATER NEAR HIS DEATH OGRES MAY SPAWN, RUN BACK TO THE END OF THE UNDERGROUND HALLWAY AND SNIPE THEM WITH ICE BREAKERS!
IF ONE PERSON DIES YOU WILL DIE IF YOU DONT KILL THE BIG GREEN EYE BEHIND HIM QUICKLY!
IF THE SWORD GUY IS LVL 31 IT GIVES A 50% DAMAGE INCREASE!

3 RespuestasSome sub-tips for those having issues on stage 2: 1st person to grab the sword/cross the bridge is the most important. Should be done by someone that can use the sword on a gatekeeper and win every time (I'll give some tips to improve your odds later) while also being able to hold their own against the ranged adds (1 yellow knight bullet-sponge, 3 acoyltes) or at the very least hold agro from them as others cross with the sword since it's very difficult to handle a gatekeeper while being shot by the ranged adds. Kill the acolytes every time they come (3 come each time a swordbearer is killed); either kill the yellow knight each time (if you need to and have spare ammo), blind him (flash-bang grenade, bubble + helm of the saint, etc.) as the sword carrier crosses to fight the gatekeeper, or at the very least grab his agro and draw him away from the gatekeeper. This yellow knight will respawn with the next wave of acolytes (each time a swordbearer is downed) if killed and requires a LOT of ammo to kill, so best to neutralize him without killing him. Now, for those having issues killing their Gatekeeper with the sword consistently, try my "patented" (joking) technique as follows. When you approach the Gatekeeper you're intended to kill, don't immediately begin spamming attacks on him, have patience and observe what he's doing/where he's focused upon; best success is to intentionally let him get the first attack and avoid it (several ways, but sprint + slide at a 45 degree angle to either side of him work best in my experience). Now, there are multiple situations for a relic-bearer to be aware of in order to accomplish this, but let's simply focus upon the Gatekeeper. He'll either be: 1.) Kneeling without agro on you or anyone else - In this situation you CAN open up with attacks immediately upon him so long as he doesn't get up and immediately try attacking as you get closer. 2.) Standing in place (important that he's not moving) with his back to you as you approach - in which case again, you CAN open up with attacks if he doesn't agro upon approach. 3.) Agro'd upon someone else (either moving towards them or even in the process of attacking them) - a dangerous situation that can lead to you taking ranged splash damage since the ranged knight (and acolytes) will likely also be shooting at the location where the Gatekeeper will be. If no significant ranged threats are present, simply wait for him to finish his attack animation upon his current target or draw his agro and sprint + slide to either side of him THEN attack. 4.) Agro's upon you as you approach - optimal and most likely situation. Sprint towards him, wait for him to begin a lunge, then slide at an angle to either side of him, immediately begin attacking him after your slide. It's important not to attack him while he's in the middle of doing an attack. His attack animation renders him (briefly) immune to being staggered with your sword attacks so timing is key. Personally, I don't use the ground smash attack since it has that slight delay between activating and landing (potentially resulting in letting him animate to attack you even if you're spamming it perfectly). I use the "triple-combo" of (default settings) R2 + R2 + R1 (which is melee, melee, shoot) - and no it doesn't do the "ground smash", it's a special combo that deals a good bit more damage (and causes a more severe/more consistent stagger) than simply spamming either R2 or R1. Use it three times in a row and he'll be dead without so much as being able to look at you funny. Once you've mastered the tactic of letting the Gatekeeper attack first, avoid it, THEN open up on him, you'll have greater success at killing multiple Gatekeepers should anyone before you have failed (I've managed to kill 3 - one of them having been wounded, though), making you a great choice for a slot in the raid as "clean-up". Hope this helps those having issues with the sword against the gatekeeper.

3 RespuestasAlso you should add that the first chest shows up in the room with a white light up above the door. So look for the white light above one of the doors and that's where the chest is.

Part 2: the troll bridge You don't have to kill the trolls once you get to the other side. They just make killing the ogres at the end that much kore easier. For the trolls, you need to watch them. They will attack you if they think you are not looking. They will also attack you if you leave one of the totem circles.

8 RespuestasQuestion. For chest 2 you said you have to run quickly to make it to the door before it closes. When does the door start closing or when do you start running? After all 6 people are across the bridge and you kill the ogres/wizards and gets the loot do you then have to run to get the chest? Will it no re-open with the ghost once closed?
