In case you didn't see it yet, DeeJ speaks with IGN about Destiny's story, the new raid and player feedback. Like him or not, I feel he did a good job talking about it without sounding too "PR".
http://www.ign.com/videos/2014/12/08/bungie-on-destinys-lack-of-story-the-new-raid-and-destiny-2-psx-2014
EDIT: Lots of varying opinions! It's funny, some people must think Bungie consists of DeeJ sitting in an empty office and doing everything. They fail to understand that he is simply a mouthpiece for the company.
How many of you start ranting at your cell phone when someone calls you with bad news? Silly.

He keeps using the word "story" I don't think he knows what that word means
-
Eh he was ok
-
Deej is doing his best but, in fairness, the rest of Bungie are not giving him anything to work with. The expansion is basically 30 mins of content. How can he truthfully sell us that?
-
Lol all that was, was pr, said alot without saying anything pretty text book.

5 RespuestasSome of his comments seem pretty trifling though, as if he thinks the community is full of morons. No matchmaking in RAID... still makes no sense. I get their point, but it's no different than going online, and looking for people via websites. Pretty sure no one is going to join the RAID and then say "oh I have to go to dinner"...no more than do already anyhow. Everyone knows what the RAID is, or at least not to start it without time to finish it. That whole thing in the start about heritage and "kids these days don't know how good they have it"... that's not really a good thing. It's not like this is a game that's been out for 5 years where it would be understandable that people could start new and catch up fast.. it's been out for 3 months... People should still have to put some effort in..

Editado por PhilCR: 12/8/2014 12:17:47 PMIt looked to much PR to me.

1 RespuestaThanks DeeJ, now know 100% never to believe a word that comes out of your mouth! watched the video again now that the dlc is released and you really are full of excrement.
-
Thanks for the link; he says a whole lotta nothin; What a tool

Editado por lord omigon: 12/10/2014 1:36:15 AMI have no hostility for DeeJ, he's a pr guy, his entire job is to hype bungies content and absorb hate bullets. But with that being said, I have no sympathy for all the bile that's thrown at him either. I'm sure he's a nice guy and I'm also sure he gets paid well to sift through the mountains of hate mail(posts) he gets. It's feeling sorry for a fisherman cause he comes home smelling like fish. I find the DeeJ apologists just as ridiculous as the people taking to the Internet to attack him. All of the coming his way instead of bungies makes sure his mortgage gets paid. Never take a pr guys words as anything but dollars earned for his company people.

On why no matchmaking for raids: "You don't want to start a Raid and then you're called (mom?) for dinner and you have to quit." Lol, cute. They're really aiming at younger crowd.

10 RespuestasI'm interested to see how Destiny 2 does, and how quickly they push it out. I don't plan on preordering this time around, and the speed at which they announced a sequel doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
-
1 RespuestaDeej is the eyes and ears of the community, He's what helps shape this game into what people want. Not everyone is going to get their way obviously for the better of this game...because a lot of people on here just complain about the stupidest shit.
-
1 RespuestaI wonder if Bungie pays attention to forums other than their own. Because on IGN and Gamespot forums that directly deal with destiny raid matchmaking, there is a CLEAR disappointment that Bungie is not adding mm to raids. I dont care if theres mm or not. What i dont understand is the incompetence to put an lfg system INGAME. Even warframe has something like this ingame that works decently. They advertise it as a "social" game yet there are restrictions and limits on the social aspect. Kind of mind boggling to be honest especially with all the hate on Destiny even outside their core community.
-
1 Respuestaha and he looks like a douche bag to. yeh well done now your adding "story" you mean dlc an add on an extra the games ment to have this not the extra money add on lol fail big time deej hell even your name sounds stupid. he talks about what he reads clearly not doing much about it i aint seen a single thing on here been done on the updates lol just fixes n patches for fixes lol no one asked for half the crap in the updates and we expected half the extras from shaders in the game lol hes a fail and so is the team behind it if i was honestly the guy behind bungie or owner id fire the entire team
-
1 RespuestaI always thought he was a cool guy i mean honestly the maturity level in this community and console players in general is horrible everyone judges without trying, way to many idiots dont wanna work for their gear and last but not least to many emo nerf this posts.
-
6 RespuestasDefinitely disagree with his opinion on matchmaking. No an experience is not heightened by sitting on Destibylfg.com for x amount of time. Bungle's protesting of the matchmaking is starting to turn into a "doth protest too much" situation. He also let us know that the devs do read the forum. Guess this explains why they keep giving us angry dungeon master patches. They literally are punishing us.

4 RespuestasReally he says they listen, too whom? Obviously not the people they've burned since release. From day one they weren't prepared for this game and it showed. Only after they got the money they started to make some things right slightly. Remember they said you can play the raid anyway you want. How long did that last? Then their defending the purity of game. They put this out not ready for prime time. When the players are given a bugged program. They do whatever you can to move forward. But these people instead of fixing the core issues. They just make it more harder for a large group players inside this game. By design or their bad game code. Has been denied better raid gear en masse thus holding way too many people back. Now their upping nightfall etc to 30. So out of the box those past bugs win again. Putting way too many players at a bungie made disadvantage. Way to go djee you really don't get it do you...

2 RespuestasWait....What? There's a story in Destiny?
-
He did a good job. He's about as pasty as I thought though.
-
1 RespuestaIMO, Deej did a great job on the interview, and touched on the elements of the game many have asked for changes in (glimmer and vault capacity), while making sure to not to make it sound like they were a done deal. Do not envy that job, but he sure is good at it.
-
I for one am happy he doesn't listen to all the cry babies on the forums as much as all the entitled brats think he should.
-
I think he did a good job. I think he wants to change some things for the players but I think it takes time to implement some of this stuff.
-
Lol they ask him about lack of story and he is talking about corners of the Internet. Sounds like a politician!
-
I think he did a great job, and that bungie is moving in the right direction.
-
talking in circles geeze i hate people like that. have some conviction.
-
His interview sounded like the destiny dialog. I don't have time what I don't have time to explain.
