Shoulder charge, scorch melee, blink strike all examples of instant kill melees. Why not make a throwing knife headshot instant kill? Gunslinger sub class is already underpowered enough. Give hunters a chance!

blink strikes backstab and radiance enchance scorch are the 1 shots if performed correctly

Should be a one-shot to the head. Titan has shoulder charge (WAY easier to use than throwing knife), Warlock melee has ridiculous range... hunter should have an advantage too! This game is built around being overpowered, so why should the knife be underpowered?
-
I'm sorry but a throwing knife isn't a melee. Plus, I'm wearing a helmet.

2 RespuestasIf a throwing knife headshot were to be a one shot deal, I request anything with more force, for example a bullet, should be a one shot kill as well.
-
Would be spammed to high hell. No thanks, I have hunter and still would not approve.
-
At least hunter could have a guaranteed kill with knife+head shoot+solar flair, currently not even with this!
-
Fine then just turn off the ridiculous aim assist knives have
-
I agree, but only with the DOT. People will cry nerf otherwise.
-
Agreed. Throw a knife at Crota and kill him :D
-
-
I agree 100%
-
Max out your strength, you get a 1 shot kill.
-
It's pretty fair, I shoot at a medium distance take cover and then get a body shot with my knife and they die. The distance makes up for it.

1 RespuestaPretty sure It is if u have the ignite modifier on
-
Nah man, since when does a knife to a head kill someone........ #Babylickers

2 RespuestasEditado por KidSixXx: 12/8/2014 1:06:37 AMI am a Gunslinger and know that if our knives were one-shots it would break PvP especially if we ran with a Knife Juggler / Gambler's Dagger or a Circle of Life / Gambler's Dagger build. The distance we can throw a knife and still get a kill is pretty remarkable, actually. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ykia0ITQo9s We are not UP. If anything, our ability to dictate the pace of mid-range combat with HC's and TK's and our habit of leaving our Tripmine Grenades behind at Capture Flags in Control matches (Young Ahamkara's Spine's extension of Tripmine Grenade duration is disturbing) might make most players think that we are OP.

Scorch is only a OHK if Radiance is active, not a good comparison. Blink strike is also not an instant kill unless you're talented into increased damage from behind and even then I don't think it's a for sure OHK. Shoulder Charge okay, but keep in mind they also have to anticipate using it and get sprinting for a good 1-2 seconds to activate it. Throwing knife with flame talent does plenty of damage if you hit them in the head. IMO, learn to finish them off with a bullet or two and you'd be set.
-
If you have incendiary blade on it should leave a sliver of health and DOT finishes them off. Not sure why it's not TBH, currently it'll leave them with 10-20 HP (guessing). Regular would be a little OP as you could just use the instant cooldown perk for unlimited 1 hits. I wouldn't mind it though, good counter to shoulder charge.
-
It used to be but they nerfed it. Pretty sure.
-
Scorch is not a one hit kill.
-
1 RespuestaWell everything about the hunter is Underpowered the warlock is obviously OP the Titan might be the only balanced character
-
1 RespuestaMaybe if it didn't get headshots when you through it at someone's foot.
-
Btw...am I the only one who noticed that sometimes the knife doesn't "burn" its target if you have that perk? (PvP only)
-
It isn't? I swear I've been killed by this more than once.
